Holidays to the United States of America are simply iconic, with epic scenes from San Francisco to Florida and every kind of cuisine in between.

A real all-rounder

Mountains, deserts, beaches, cities – you name it, America’s got it. With 50 states to find something you like, it’s a safe bet for just about any kind of trip. And it’s the GOAT for a road trip – San Francisco to LA or The Grand Canyon to Las Vegas. There’s a lot you might have seen on screen before as well. Mickey Mouse, the Empire State Building, the Golden Gate Bridge? It’s all here.

Theme park thrills

Orlando sits bang in the middle of Florida, and you can bet its got all the action. Walt Disney World Resort is the main name for kids and inner kids – it lines up the floating islands of Pandora, in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and the intergalactic rides of Disney's Hollywood Studios. But you’ve also got a long strip of restaurants, bars and attractions to work your way down – it’s known as International Drive. And the dining scene at Disney Springs might just be the happiest place on Earth for your stomach, too.

Big city life

Elsewhere, you’ve got the likes of Las Vegas, New York, San Francisco and Boston to pick from. Vegas is the bubbly one, with massive casinos, clubs and hotels. New York’s the bold friend with the big-hitting landmarks. There’s Lady Liberty, the Empire State, Times Square and Central Park – they’ll be there for you. Things are a little more easy breezy in San Francisco, with its hilly neighbourhoods, ocean views and pretty parks. Boston’s the oldest of the bunch, full of history, seafood and sports.
