Holidays to Torrenova are just the ticket if you're looking for a tot-friendly beach, a variety of daytrip options and food the whole family will love.

A choice of beaches

You’ll find the resort of Torrenova on the south-west coast of the Spanish island of Majorca, in the Balearics. It perches on a headland, with one long beach to one side, and three smaller ones to the other, so finding sunbathing space is a cinch. Son Matias beach is particularly popular, thanks to its kitten-soft sands, gentle waves and range of watersports facilities.

Great for families

Torrenova is neighbours with better-known Magaluf, which is less than 10 minutes’ drive away. It’s got a rep for nightlife, but there’s plenty for toddlers through to teens here, too. Take Katmandu Park, for example, with its play areas, splash pools, minigolf course and 4D experiences. Torrenova and Magaluf both also have lots of restaurants where the menus are designed with Brits in mind, so picky eaters can dig in fuss-free.

Pop to Palma

If you’re up for exploring further afield, the city of Palma is 25 minutes down the road. The headline act here’s the huge cathedral, which is especially swoon-worthy when it’s all lit up at night. You’ll also find designer shops – plus high-street faves like H&M – cutesy tapas bars and chic restaurants stashed away in the city’s web of cobblestone streets.
