Explore the village’s Medieval past
Alaminos is overlooked by the Church of Agios Mamas. The whole village pulled together to build it back in the 15th-century, and there’s even a big stone with the saint’s footprint outside. Head inside and you’ll find paintings and a decorative wall made up of wooden icons. There’s also the Venetian fortress, or watchtower, which gives panoramic ocean views.
