Spend the day on Golden Beach
Praia da Oura – AKA Golden Beach – is less than 10 minutes’ drive from Branquiera, or you can walk there in half an hour. Here, you’ve got five kilometres of sand sheltered by sandstone cliffs. There’s a gentle slope into the sea, which is filled with holidaymakers enjoying banana boats, water-skiing, jet-skiing and windsurfing. And the prom is packed with cafés and restaurants.
