Tuck in to fresh seafood in Korcula Town

The island is famed for its local produce – wines, olive oils and cured prsut hams especially. In the capital, the family-run konobas, or tavernas, put the raw ingredients to good use. Look out for starters like dates stuffed with soft cheese or apple with goats’ cheese. And the seafood is worth investigating, too. Go for a seafood platter or a steaming bowl of mussels. The local Grk wine is a reliable companion for most seafood dishes.
