Catch a big one on a deep-sea fishing trip
Porto Santo’s star is on the rise when it comes to deep-sea fishing. The waters around here are a main route for big fish in migration mode, which makes for some pretty rich pickings. You’re most likely to land a member of the tuna family – though it’s not unheard of to find a 500-kilo blue marlin at the end of your line. Your best bet is to cast off in the waters north of the island.
