Viejo Vallarta is home to Basilio Badillo Street – AKA Restaurant Row. It’s home to every kind of restaurant you can imagine, from swanky, high-end eateries to traditional Mexican joints. For a grab-and-go snack, you’ll find vendors all along the malecón hawking seafood skewers, straight-off-the-grill tacos and corn on the cob smothered in lime and chilli. Follow it up with fried bananas for pudding.
