Cycle the Golden Gate Bridge

Think San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge is the first image that pops into most people’s head. You can drive over this iconic landmark, but the best way to take it all in is on two wheels. Once you’ve made the two-mile cycle across, you can snap a selfie at the Golden Gate National Recreation Area. On your way back, don’t forget to stop off at Golden Gate Park. At three miles long, it easily trumps New York’s equivalent, Central Park. The network of walking trails is peppered with lakes, a Japanese tea garden and a flower conservatory.
