Set your sights on Seville’s Cathedral

Seville’s centrepiece took over 100 years to build, and as soon as you set on eyes on it you’ll see why. It spans almost 124,000 square feet, and on its completion in 1506 it was crowned as the largest cathedral in the world. These days, it can’t quite make that claim, but it does still hold the title of the world’s largest Gothic Cathedral. It’s worth not only setting some time aside to walk around the outside of this place, but to go inside too. It’s just as impressive indoors, from its finely detailed floors to its spectacular ceilings and everything in between.
