Grab a bottle of world-class olive oil
Another of the Istria region’s famous exports is olive oil. Mooch around the souvenir shops along Vrsar’s seafront promenade, and you’ll come across shelves stacked with the stuff. You can pick up award-winning extra virgin varieties, as well as bottles flavoured with things like truffles and rosemary.
