Best time to go to Hurghada
The sunshine sticks around all year long in Egypt. In the summer months, it’s around 35°C in the Nile region and it tops 40°C in the Red Sea region. Spring and autumn are in the high-20s, too. Rain is practically unheard of, apart from a few drops here and there in the winter months. But even then, we’re still talking a pleasant 21°C. If you’re diving, water temperatures can reach the high-20s in summer, but in winter they fall to around 21°C.Passports and Visas
As a British citizen, you must have a valid passport and a visa to enter Egypt. For a small fee, you can apply through our visa and travel authorisation partner – Sherpa.If you’re only travelling to Taba and/or Sharm el Sheikh, you won’t need a visa.
