Best time to go to Lake Balaton
Lake Balaton is good for getting clear and sunny skies over the summer. Temperatures hit around 35°C during the peak of July and August or if you prefer something cooler, go for May or September, when it's more like highs of 25°C. Whatever the weather, you’ll want to pack a light jacket for the evenings, though – boat trips can get a bit breezy on the lake.Passports and Visas
