Villa holidays in Cyprus give you the option of setting up shop as near or far from the action as you like.
The island bobs in the Med, so there are beaches for days if you study a map of its coastline. The lion’s share of our villas plonk you near a sandy sweep, and included car hire means it’s never an issue to get there.
In terms of location, party animals and home comfort-lovers can opt for a property in Ayia Napa, Cyprus’ go-to wild child. Protaras, meanwhile, sings from a family-focused hymn sheet, with a big beach, seaside restaurants and decent shopping in its skill set.
Coral Bay’s something of a quieter customer, but its close proximity to big personality Paphos makes it a popular pick for history buffs and culture vultures. The rest of our roster takes you away from the usual suspects – Polis, Pomos and Latchi are all much snoozier spots for a villa holiday, with quaint tavernas, unspoiled countryside and peaceful beaches on offer.
The whole lot have one thing in common, though – they offer bags of variety when it comes to size, with little and large options to suit everyone’s needs. Plenty have pools right outside the back doors, too.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to booking a villa in Cyprus, so the best place depends on what you’re after in a holiday. There are lively spots, like Ayia Napa, along with peaceful places in the shape of Polis and Pomos.
First Choice do offer villas in the Paphos area. We’ve got properties in nearby Coral Bay, which is a 15-minute drive from the edge of Paphos.
For a taste of the island’s history, opt for somewhere like Coral Bay, on the outskirts of relic-rammed Paphos. Ayia Napa is great for partygoers who want a more modern break, and Polis puts you on the cusp of the impressive Troodos Mountains.
