Sarah Clayton is a marketing copywriter for First Choice. She’s been to four continents, twelve countries, and still counting. Her favourite travel experiences so far include feeding wild kangaroos in Australia, watching turtles laying eggs in Costa Rica, and making it to the top of Dunn’s River Falls in Jamaica – without slipping over.
Likes: Game of Thrones, a perfectly mixed G&T, getting a discount on something – there’s a voucher out there if you look hard enough!
Dislikes: Running out of annual leave, rain, brussel sprouts.
First holiday memory: Norfolk, with my grandparents. The slot machines at Hunstanton Pier kept me occupied for hours.
Top travel tip: Bring a handful of tea bags in your hand luggage. You never know when you might need a refreshing brew.
Where to next: The bright lights of New York City.
Favourite holiday destination: Costa Rica. Backpacking for two weeks through ever-changing climates in this diverse destination taught me two things – there’s more to this country than meets the eye, and packing light is not a concept I understand.
