Travelling with little ones isn’t always fun and games, so to help you plan your perfect family holiday, we’ve picked the destinations that are easy to get to and have plenty going on for kids of all ages. Here’s where you can make some amazing holiday memories, and enjoy a relaxing break at the same time.
Majorca is a hop and a skip from the UK, at just over 2 hours away. And, once you’re on the Balearic island, it’s really easy to get around. Lively Magaluf is a 20 minute drive from the airport, while culture-packed Palma is a super-quick 15 minutes from airport arrivals to hotel. The Spanish island is packed full of beaches with paddle-friendly waters, cultural attractions and waterparks to keep just about everyone happy, too.
If you book your stay at the Sol Kamandu Park & Resort in Magaluf, you’ll get free entry to the theme park next door which caters to all ages, including adults. There’s a funky upside-down house with games and attractions inside, a five-floor soft play area and a huge waterpark for little ones. For older kids and fun-loving adults there’s a super-tall climbing frame with rope lines and swings, plus zombie and wild west-themed 4D interactive games. If you can tear yourself away from the resort, Magaluf’s best beach is right opposite the hotel for some downtime, too.
Majorca boasts highs of 30 degrees in the peak of summer, so you’ll want to head somewhere where there are plenty of pools and waterparks to cool off in. It’s easy to travel between the two, so you’ll get the best of both worlds.
