Big AND little kids, listen up. If you love whizzing down waterslides on holiday, but hate paying extra for your waterpark ticket, you’ve got to try a SplashWorld hotel. SplashWorld breaks have waterpark entry included in the price, making our All Inclusive holidays even more fun. Plus, loads of the waterparks are attached to the hotels, so you won’t have to go far to hop into the Lazy River on your next family holiday. Here are our pick of the best hotels with waterparks in Spain…

    Paradise Valle Taurito, Gran Canaria

You won’t know where to stretch your swimming muscles first at the Paradise Valle Taurito in Gran Canaria – this on-site waterpark is like a theme park for aquababies. Throw yourself into the Space Bowl, climb aboard The Pirate Ship, or race down the Kamikaze waterslide at the waterpark. And, when you need to take the excitement down a notch, sandy Taurito beach is only 70m from the hotel. Plus, back at the hotel, there’s a kids’ club for ages four to twelve and an outdoor pool separate from the waterpark for some low-key paddling time.

Compostela Beach Golf Apartments and Siam Park, Tenerife

Stay at the Compostela Beach Golf Apartments in Tenerife and you’ll get tickets to Siam Park, one of the best waterparks in Europe. The park is a five minute drive from the hotel, and it’s got something for everyone. Adrenaline seekers can test their nerve on the Tower of Power, a slide that drops 28m and passes through an aquarium. Or there’s The Volcano, on which daredevils fall into the heart of a volcano. In the dark. And there’s plenty for those on a family holiday, too. The Wave Palace flaunts the biggest artificial waves in the world – you can actually surf in this massive wave pool – or there’s The Lost City, which has the only pool for babies in the Canaries.

GHT Oasis Park and Spa, Costa Brava

There are two outdoor pools at this hotel, plus two beaches less than a 15 minute walk away from the GHT Oasis Park and Spa in Costa Brava. When you’ve had your fill of the local amenities – including restaurants, bars, and shops – jump into Water World Lloret, the nearby waterpark. It’s just a five minute bus journey from the hotel and has loads on offer, including rapids, slides with vertical drops, and Water Mountain, a ride that dubs itself a ‘rollercoaster in water’.

Globales Playa Estepona, Costa del Sol

The Globales Playa Estepona in the Costa del Sol has a brand-new waterpark with a multi-lane slide for racing your mates. It’s also got a kids’ spray park and pirate-themed area filled with mini slides for little ones. On top of that, there are three main swimming pools in the hotel outside of the waterpark, and it overlooks a beach – you can chill out at the Beach Club restaurant when you’ve worked up an appetite. You’re also smack bang between Estepona and Marbella, so you’ve got ample exploring opportunities when you need a day off from splashing around. What more could you want?
