The one with the swim-up rooms – Arinara Bang Tao Beach Resort, Thailand
Location’s the name of the game at this hotel – it’s got one of Phuket’s longest beaches on its doorstep. There’s a restaurant serving local-style food, and the hotel’s décor keeps things Thai as well, so there’s an authentic feel to the place.
The hotel’s huge pool winds its way through the resort. And, thanks to the swim-up rooms, water babies never have to be more than an inflatable’s reach away. These rooms come with a private terrace and direct access to the water.
The one with the private island – SuneoClub Lagomonte, Majorca
The SuneoClub Lagomonte’s snapped up a picture-perfect spot at the side of a lake. Its name means ‘beautiful view’, which should explain why we reckon a camera should be top of your packing list.
A pair of pools make up the swimming scene at this hotel. One’s a classic number complete with terrace and loungers. The second is the jewel in this place’s crown. It’s right in the middle of the lake, on the hotel’s private island. Swanky or what?
The one with the beach bar – SuneoClub Aristoteles, Greece
This place joined the SuneoClub crew in summer 2018. It offers up a trio of outdoor pools lined with loungers. One of the swimming spots is perched on a pool terrace, and boasts sea views.
What’s more, the hotel’s set just across from a sandy beach, where there’s a selection of sunbeds just for guests. And it’s here that you’ll find the hotel’s piece de résistance – its beach bar. There’s no need to shell out for beachfront bevs or bites, it’s all part of your All Inclusive package. Pick from a selection of hot and cold drinks and snacks. Of course, there’s a list of cocktails to choose from, too.
The one with the coral reef – SuneoClub Soma Beach, Egypt
If you’re after variety, this Egyptian spot’s got you sorted. It’s got a bar for each day of the week, a quartet of restaurants, and a pair of pools to boot.
If that’s not enough, did we mention that this place is on a beach? It’s not just a soft-sanded spot perfect for sunbathing, either. Pop on a snorkelling mask, go for a swim and you’ll discover a colourful coral reef just a paddle away from the shore. And, once you’ve had your fill of underwater sights, there’s a beach volleyball court to keep you busy.
