Going on holiday is all about escaping the everyday. So why not book yourself a stay at a hotel where you’ll be spoiled like a rock star? Hard Rock hotels have the A-list treatment covered. These hotspots are set in swanky locations for starters, all of them line up luxe facilities and, best of all, everything’s included. We’ve picked out our favourites – read on to find out why they’re fit for royalty…

    Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta

The rooms at the Hard Rock Hotel Vallarta come complete with all the classic Hard Rock extras. Mix your own drinks from the liquor and wine dispensers, and sip your creation in your in-room whirlpool bath. Décor-wise, they’ve been designed with Mexico in mind, so there’s a traditional vibe alongside all the ultra-modern features. It doesn’t get more Hollywood than a hotel set on Banderas Bay. But, rather than a dashing Spanish film star, you can feast your eyes on views over bright blue waters. Plus, the bay’s golden-sand beach is right on your doorstep.

When it comes to activities, the hotel takes advantage of its beachside location, offering a stellar selection of watersports. Snorkelling gear’s available to grab from the watersports hut – slip on a mask and marvel at Banderas Bay’s coral reefs and marine life. The likes of water-skiing, sailing, and kayaking are on offer, too. This place even has its own dive tank, so you can perfect your scuba diving technique. The fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down, either. The fancy open-air amphitheatre puts on all sorts of shows. Head down here of an evening, and you could see anything from a rock concert to a fire show. The theatre’s accessorised with a bar, too, so you can keep the drinks flowing while you watch.

    Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya

You’ll find the Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya on Mexico’s Caribbean coast, and the hotel has its very own stretch of sand exclusively for guests. The rooms here are already VIP-ready, but if you’re feeling extra fancy you can splash out on a Rock Royalty room. These suites are the cream of the crop – opt for one of these, and you’ll be treated to nightly petit-fours, and a personal butler will be at your beck and call.

The luxury Rock Spa® is the hotel’s centrepiece. This relaxation-ready spot is huge, and we mean huge – it’s the biggest spa in the Caribbean, clocking up a mammoth 75 treatment rooms. All the spa classics are on offer here, including massages and facials, as well as a few Hard Rock specialities. Give the Rhythm and Motion massage a go. This treatment’s exclusive to Hard Rock hotels, and it’s based on Swedish massage techniques, with a musical twist. In a nutshell, your massage therapist synchronises their movements to an expertly curated playlist of music, giving you a fully immersive – and, of course, indulgent – experience.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana

If you’re after a scaled-up All Inclusive experience, the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Punta Cana is the one for you. For starters, the pool count comes in at a whopping 13. Want a peaceful session of poolside lounging? The Sax pool’s your best option. If action-packed is more your style, stump for a swim at the central pool. The family pool’s perfect for all the brood, and you can swim to the sounds of a live DJ at the Eden pool.

This hotel is fab for foodies, too – it’s got nine restaurants to its name. Local flavours are dished up at Isla, the Caribbean restaurant, where you can tuck in to the likes of fresh seafood and spiced meat. Plus, on Friday nights a live band provides the soundtrack, playing traditional Dominican tunes. Or, you can take a culinary trip east, and sample Asian dishes at the Zen restaurant. Everything’s served in a teppanyaki style, so you get to watch the expert chefs whip up your meal. For something a little different, head to Montserrat Manor, which serves up Nikkei dishes – a super-modern fusion of Peruvian and Japanese cuisine. What’s more, for drinks, you can take your pick of 15 bars.

With so much to talk about, it’s no wonder that this hotel’s bagged the TripAdvisor title of the world’s most reviewed hotel.
