Explore five countries in one day
At PortAventura Park, you’ve got five country-themed zones to explore. Where else can you start your day in China, and end up in Mexico? On your thrill-seeking travels, you’ll find tonnes of top-speed rides, including dizzying loop-the-loops and a nail-biting 100-metre free-fall. You’ve got plenty of options for pocket-sized riders, too, like bobbing along in a boat, or spinning around in a tea cup. Plus, there are loads of family-friendly performances to enjoy, including live music and exotic bird shows.
Take the little ones along for the ride
Little ones have their own dedicated zone within PortAventura Park, too – SésamoAventura. Here, you’ll find the whole Sesame Street squad, including Elmo, Grover, Bert, and Ernie, along with a colourful crop of rides. Zoom along the water on Magic Fish, imagine what it’s like to fly a plane on Coco Piloto, or get your pulse racing on the Tami Tami rollercoaster. Plus, there’s a brand new attraction to tick off – it’s the first ever Sesame Street® Dark Ride in Europe. During this interactive experience, families can go on an adventure with Detective Grover to help solve a secret mission. Do you have what it takes?
Ramp up the pace at Ferrari Land
Ferrari Land is PortAventura World’s latest addition, throwing open its trademark bright-red doors to every generation. The big-name ride in this park is Red Force, which goes from zero to a white-knuckle 180 kilometres per hour in less than five seconds, and reaches neck-craning heights of 112 metres. Or, head over to Thrill Towers and feel your stomach drop as you free-fall for 55 metres. Little ones aren’t left behind, though. The Kids’ Podium lines up a labyrinth of slides to explore. Plus, parents and their youngsters can pair up and see what it’s like to be a Ferrari racer on the Maranello Grand Race ride.
Make a splash at Caribe Aquatic Park
This Caribbean-themed waterpark’s stuffed with rides and slides, which sprawl over 50,000 square
metres. You can zoom down the Rapid Race with the whole family – this slide’s kitted out with six
race-ready tracks. Or, plunge down 31 metres on the King Khajuna drop slide. And, you’ve got three
beachy spots reserved for relaxation, too. Smaller swimmers have a few spots just for them, like La
Laguna de Woody.
Catch some Zs at a PortAventura Hotel
So, now you know just how many rides you’ve got to tick off at PortAventura World, we reckon you’re probably keen to stop over for a few days. Well, we’ve got the perfect hotel for you. Hotel El Paso’s just five minutes’ stroll away from PortAventura World. But, if you don’t fancy the walk, you can hop on the hotel’s free shuttle bus. The fun doesn’t stop when you get back to the hotel, either. You’ll find two huge pools in the gardens, and one even comes complete with a half-sunk pirate ship. What’s more, unlimited entry to PortAventura Park and one-day admission to Ferrari Land comes included with your stay – standard booking T&Cs apply. And, we’ve got more news – there’s a brand new hotel opening – the Wild West-themed Hotel Colorado Creek will swing open its saloon-style doors in June 2019. Stay tuned for details…
