• It goes without saying that millennial pink is hot right now. Want to know the best part? It’s not just one single colour. We’re talking everything from hot pink, to rose gold, and candyfloss pink, to name a few. And whether it’s your much-loved iPhone, your hair colour, or your vacay, you can absolutely bet millennial pink has a place in 2017. So, in honour of the colour of the moment, we’ve rounded up five places around the world, from Tenerife to Mauritius, for you to visit to get your fix of millennial pink. Happy scrolling…

It may be a newbie to the holiday scene, but Bulgaria’s recently established itself as a top holiday spot among in-the-know travellers. Plus, it just so happens that Varna is our brand-new destination for summer 2018, giving you lots to look forward to. Its coastline is packed with sandy beaches, historical hotspots dating back thousands of years, and bags of Instagram-worthy natural sights to gawp at – including those gorgeous pink-tinted sunsets. What’s not to love?

We’re not surprised Cyprus is full of millennial pink-shaded sights – it’s the birthplace of the Goddess of Love, after all. And because this island is full to the brim with ancient history, there are plenty of places for you to get snap happy on Instagram. Topping the list is the 9th-century Church of Saint Lazarus. It’s one of the most important Byzantine monuments in Cyprus, and was built to house the tomb of Agios Lazaros. This place is considered the most photographed attraction on the island, thanks to its beautiful, honey-coloured stonework that’s sure to give your Instagram followers major holiday FOMO.

Trying to think of an excuse to visit Mauritius? We’ve got plenty. This tropical island is really turning heads thanks to its wealth of white-sand beaches, lush-green forests, and excellent diving spots. But, did you know this place is also home to pink pineapples? Yes, you read that correctly. They’re officially known as rose pineapples, and they’re a photographer’s idea of heaven on earth. The colour comes from changing levels of certain enzymes within the fruit, resulting in that oh-so-dreamy shade of millennial pink. Passports at the ready, people.

The Canary Islands are the ‘it’ place to visit this winter. Why? We think the question is why not, actually. With volcanic islands like Tenerife, boasting architect-designed beaches, stay-up-late nightlife, and an amazing national park, you’ll be asking yourself why you haven’t already visited. Plus, Tenerife is famed for its pink-tinted sunsets, which make the ideal backdrop for date night, FYI.  And in case you didn’t already know, Tenerife still reaches temperatures of 23 degrees in December, so it’s the perfect place to top up your summer tan.

If you fancy going somewhere more far-flung to get your dose of millennial pink, look no further than Vietnam. This country is full of sights that’ll leave you spoiled for choice when it comes to giving your Instagram feed a makeover. We recommend visiting the Tan Dinh Church in Ho Chi Minh City, which is known for its bubble gum pink hue, and its French, colonial-inspired design, making it a melting pot for photographers. Plus, the church is surrounded by palm trees and other pastel-coloured buildings, so it’s basically heaven for millennial travellers.
