An adults-only pool and lots for kids gives this place a head start for families.
This large complex is made up of a main building and bungalows dotted across colourful gardens. Steps lead onto the little beach and, beyond, Altinkum is about 20 minutes’ walk away.
There’s a great pool scene here, with special mention going to the adults-only pool for its relaxed vibe. Littler guests are well catered for, too, with waterslides and a Thomson-run kids’ club.

Fabulous Customer Service
We booked this this hotel for the extended family a total of party size of 12. We noticed from the holiday brochure that the hotel had bungalow as well as traditional hotel rooms, we enquired at the travel agent if our party could be accommodated in bungalows but they said it was not possible. So we phoned the hotel directly and asked for our accommodation to be changed to bungalows and for the bungalows to be adjacent to each other which they agreed too. Ismail, the manager was particularly helpful in arranging this. A number of months after we booked our daughter and her fiance decided to take advantage of being in Turkey and to get married on the beach. Although our party was too small for Palm Wing to host the wedding, they did provide fruit and wine in our daughter's room on arrival and were helpful in ferrying our party in golf buggies to get us to the wedding on time. Arriving at the hotel we were very pleasantly surprised by the friendliness to the staff and how organised they were. They provided golf buggy taxis to take us and our luggage from the reception to our bungalows. The bungalows were very clean of a good size, with a large en-suite and a terrace at the front and rear. There was air conditioning, a mini fridge, TV and safe everything worked fine. The bungalows were cleaned every day to a high standard and the mini-fridge topped up with a fresh bottle of water. The hotel amenities were very good, we of course spent a lot of time during the day around the children's pool, there were plenty of loungers and umbrellas to provide shade for the grandkids. The main pool had flumes that were open a certain times of the day. The hotel provided s beach towel service you could change towels as often as you wished. We also made use of the children's club for our 2, 3 year old grandchildren in the morning, this was well organised and the security was good which gave us peace of mind. Our children and their partners also tried shooting which was included in the cost of the holiday. Food, the main restaurant serves buffet for breakfast, lunch, dinner and late supper. There were also a number of speciality restaurants we tried one but preferred the informality of the buffet restaurant so stuck to there. The buffet restaurant served a wide range of good quality hot and cold food which suited the mixed tastes of our party which included 2 vegetarians and 3 young children. Don't get me wrong it wasn't Michelin star but it was enjoyable and satisfying. The main reason for giving Palm Wings a 5 star rating is the level of customer service from the manager right down to the maids who clean the rooms absolutely everyone who worked for the hotel were friendly, courteous and helpful this was apparent on the several occasions that we asked for assistance. All in all we had a great holiday and daughter's wedding on the beach was fantastic, this was our first trip to Turkey and our overwhelming memory will the friendliness of the Turkish people.More

Resort lovely BUT
Resort great accommodation I couldn't fault but food bland and just felt you were eating the same thing everyday, we went for 11 days last month, October, I wouldn't recommend going this time of year most activities had ended as in end of season so it was boring and got tedious I wanted to come home after around 5 daysMore
Disappointing food and entertainment
Very disappointing food. Lukewarm at best and repetitive. Jacket potatoes were on the menu only once in two weeks. The mash potato was awful. Watery and tasteless. Basic food and hygiene levels substandard especially at the outdoor kitchen. Croissants were not available after 9am even though breakfast is served up to 11am. There was a bowl of what i can only describe as tiny pieces of peaches in a liquid that was put on the servery every morning but was never filled up with fresh peaches for the whole of our stay. The a-la-carte italian restaurant was fabulous. Freshly cooked food served piping hot by friendly waiters. Evening entertainment by the hotel animation team was great for the children. Turkish night and the acrobats were great including EDi and his strongman show. The entertainment by the pool bar was poor, especially the gentleman who tried to sing and play guitar who was dreadful. He could not play guitar and basically sung out of key. I would not recommend this hotel based on the quality of the food.More
We were really looking forward to this holiday as my husband missed most of our summer holiday because he got pneumonia after the first few days. Turkey is a lovely place so we decided to return, but visit another resort. Where to start?? On arrival, although we were the only group, we never got a welcome drink, even though we had just had an hour and half on the transfer from the airport. Not the best start. After check in we were taken by golf buggy to our rooms which were nice bungalows with plenty of room. Not to be put off we looked on the bright side and decided to have a look around. There is a mini bar in the room, but it only had a bottle of water, which was replaced daily. There is also a free safe in the wardrobe. some toiletries are supplied on arrival, these weren't replaced when used. The shower wasn't the best, you have to run the water for what seems like forever until you get hot water. Towels/bedding replaced daily. The pool is a nice area, big pool with 3 waterslides, but the water is very cold and we had to keep kids wrapped in towels to get warm when they had braved going in. The beach for me was the best place. The view is lovely and it is so relaxing. The beach barman was very nice, but there was only beer and soft drinks and coffee machine there. there are loads of loungers along the beach and on the jetty. The restaurant has nice views overlooking the sea. The food was only warm, never hot, even when we were early to the evening meal it was only lukewarm. The cakes were plentiful and some were very nice indeed. The grandchildren loved them. The problem we encountered was that it was obviously the end of the season and the staff couldn't wait to shut up shop, with the exception of the animation team. They were brilliant with the kids, even on the last day, when i think everyone else had given up and we were the only ones at the mini disco they still entertained our 2 grandkids. Credit to them. There was hardly anyone at the hotel, so we felt like we'd got the place to ourselves. The staff plainly didn't want to be there and they started clearing all the loungers, parasols and other equipment away whilst we were sunbathing. We all felt like we were in the way at times. The last couple of days it felt really uncomfortable. Wouldn't have felt so bad if hadn't paid full price for the week, but for the price we paid and the reviews i'd read, i expected a super holiday not one that had no atmosphere, no smiles from staff and everything closing up around us. Never been so glad to come home. Maybe this hotel is good early/mid season, but its certainly not at the end.More
