An adults-only pool and lots for kids gives this place a head start for families.
This large complex is made up of a main building and bungalows dotted across colourful gardens. Steps lead onto the little beach and, beyond, Altinkum is about 15 minutes’ walk away.
There’s a great pool scene here, with special mention going to the adults-only pool for its relaxed vibe. Littler guests are well catered for, too, with waterslides and a Thomson-run kids’ club.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff at Palm Wings for making my holiday so chilled and relaxing, a special thank you to Memhet at reception for putting up with me pestering him for information at all hours of the day and night and to Engin for the great photo's he took. I have never been on an all inclusive holiday where food was available round the clock, even at 1am the restaurant was open! The food was good and a very wide selection to choose from, even the fussy eaters in our group found something they liked :) The complex itself was clean and very well looked after, the gardeners had there work cut out keeping the grounds looking so amazing. The rooms were very good all bungalow style so no stairs to climb, the maids came everyday to make the bed, change the towels, clean and even supplied bottled water each day. There was always something to do if you wanted to, either entertainment in the pool or you could go down to the beach and do water sports. At night when the sun was down we would go out of the complex to the shops for all the genuine imitations that could float your boat (just remember baggage allowance lol). With all the trouble that seem to be putting people off going to Turkey we had no problems at all outside the complex, the shop owners were all very friendly and would offer you drinks and a place to cool down. I would highly recommend this resort as a place to take the family they have loads to keep you entertained. I would find it hard to pick one thing I liked best as I enjoyed everything there. Thank you Palm Wings :)More

I took my two daughters to PalmWings for a week as their first time abroad and my first time to turkey. I was amazed by how much their was to do for all age groups. The entertainment was on-going from 10am until 2am. The food was excellent and on offer 24/7 as well as drinks. On our first day, we booked into the spa. We all had treatments, and all loved it. Our favourite was the bubble massage. Nino, who works at the spa was so helpful and friendly. Not only on the day of our spa treatments, but for the whole duration of our holiday. We miss him so much. We will definitely be heading back to Palm wings time and time again. More
There are many pitiless about this hotel and I would like to say I would stay again. It is spotlessly clean and when you wall about it would be easy to mistake the grounds for a 5 star hotel. This is at the most a 3 star . Our room was a bungalow 1572. We had 3 days without hot water and a blocked deain. Thomson did get us compensation though. Anyone needing wifi it's really poor . You need to go to the booking in reception and find a hot spot. Once you find it don't move. We had lovely food and not even a hint of tummy ache. Although I did stick to salads as the hot food was barely warm. Breakfast is the best meal and the croissants fly off the tray as they come fresh out of the oven. The beach and jetty was our place of choice due to the high levels of noise around the pool all day long. But that's just kids and music and not a complaint about the hotel. The alcohol is very poor quality. If it had been any good the equivalent of 10 double vodkas my husband had would have had some affect.nothing !!!! Tip.. ask the hotel for extra blankets. The bedding isn't cosy and quite starchy. We met a couple who have been to the hotel 3 tines and said that things have gone down hill and the staff are miserable and don't seem to care. They do work extremely hard and in very hot conditions. Lots on the news about turkey but still go. The Turkish people are warm and friendly and we felt 100 % safe when we went for long walks quite late at night. I'd give this hotel 6 out of 10. I would go back due to its cleanliness and gorgeous beach area. We got what we paid for. A nice cheap week in the sun and came home relaxed and happy. This place is really great for families. We went as a couple so maybe we will try another hotel next year as the area is great to visit More
Such a lovely hotel and staff, despite what everyone says about turkey being unsafe at the moment I can honestly say not at one single point did I feel me and my 3 yr old were not safe! Don't let the media etc put you off going to turkey. Hotel is beautiful and lots to do, pool is fantastic and the animation team are fab. Food was lovely, only thing I can find to fault was the wifi, not very good but then why go on holiday to spend the time on your phone etc?? Will defiantly be returning to this hotel More
Arrival. We arrived around 0130am and checkin was quick and easy. Drinks are avaliable hours and there are sandwiches if you were hungry. The receptionist Mehmet welcomed us and was very helpful in moving us from room 1730 (triple room) to 1494 (double +single bed) which is in a perfect location close to the pool and restaurants only about a 2 minute walk but nice and quiet. The rooms were cleaned every day and the maids are fantastic. We asked for a further pillow and sheet which upon returning to the room was there waiting for us. Spa The next day started with spa treatments for a very reasonable price. We had a turkish bath with scrub, face mask and a full body massage with bronzing oil for £40! This lasted about 90 minutes! There is also a gym which has basic equipment such as a tread machine, bike, rower and few other things open from 9am-7pm. Nino and Billy from the Spa were always smiling, they would often come and have a general chit chat if we were sat inside having a break from the sun. They are great with there local knowledge and the area or if you had any questions there were the people to ask . Many thanks to Billy for recommending Gusto Restaurant. The food and drinks were amazing. If you want a good meal out that's resonably priced I would completely recommend this place. Billy can organise transport for free if you ask him. Animation team There's alot of different things to do during the day with the animation team (Yaya, Umut, Edi, Omer and Aside) a huge thank you for the hard work they do every day to keep you entertained. They try to get you involved but don't pressure you if you're not feeling like it. Pool and Beach. The pool is big with a good water temperature, there are three water slides ( open 10-12 and 1400-1600) and there's plenty of sunbeds to choose from with no need to get up early. You get a towel card on check in and can collect your towel from the pool. You can change them as many times as you want. To get to the beach there's a bit of a walk down the steps or a steep ramp. I would say that it looks very different from the photos on the Web site and its a bit stoney to get in, once you're in the sea it's sandy and shallow. There's a beach bar with a coffee machine, juice and your basic fizzy and alcoholic drinks. The night club is situated on the beach open midnight till 2am. We however didn't visit this. Restaurants and snack bar. Good variety of hot and cold food and desserts with selection of salads and soups. Just please serve your plate with the amount of food you're gonna eat and not waste it like many people were doing! I wasn't impressed with the a la carte restaurantes but this was included so gave it a try. The waiters are always clearing the tables and with a smile. A please and thank you go along way, many people seem to forget this! Pool snack bar was opened from 10am till 5pm serving pizzas, burgers, gozleme, chicken kebab and salads etc. It's a good option if you can't be bothered to have lunch at the main restaurant. From 3 till 5pm you'll have ice cream too which is included. Just outside the hotel is a small agency selling trips called Avesta. He has a wide variety of trips on offer and was the cheapest we found around the whole town. Be careful when booking trips as many will only collect you from the hotel and not drop you back. Avesta does a return journey. If you want a trip into altinkum you can either walk which is about 30 minutes or catch the dolmus from the end of the road. Costs 2lira each way which is about 50p. Taxi is £5. It's always the number 4 dolmus from the hotel to the town and back again. The best currency to take is either lira or English but be careful how they convert it In the shops. There are lots of places to change money in the town but make sure to use an official exchange as many of the shops will give you fake money. The rate is normally better to change when you are there then in the UK. Market day is Saturday and it's a typical turkish market with genuine fakes. A dolmus will drop you right at the market if you ask the driver for the bizaar. We visited the temple of Appolo which is 10lira each (£2.50). It's only small takes about an hour to look round but is a welcome change from lounging at the pool. The dolmus will take you there. What with all the madness going on in the world many people seem to be avoiding turkey with our hotel only being half full. Whilst we were there we felt perfectly safe. There is security at the gate 24/7, further security wondering the hotel and beaches and police doing patrols in the town. Overall this is a great family holiday. I would recommend this hotel anyone who wants a mixture of relaxation and family fun! Palm Wings keep up the good work! More
