An adults-only pool and lots for kids gives this place a head start for families.
This large complex is made up of a main building and bungalows dotted across colourful gardens. Steps lead onto the little beach and, beyond, Altinkum is about 15 minutes’ walk away.
There’s a great pool scene here, with special mention going to the adults-only pool for its relaxed vibe. Littler guests are well catered for, too, with waterslides and a Thomson-run kids’ club.

I went for a week to palm wings, being a single mother of two children aged 14 and 12 I was a bit apprehensive about being on my own on holiday but I did in fact have the best time ever. Good choice of tasty food, entertainment every night, hood choice of unlimited drinks 24 hours, stunning scenery, clean bungalow and resort and the pools and beach were good, the main thing was the staff who were all fantastic, special mention to Ali the barman who was excellent with all the children and adults alike, animation team were good with everyone even with the long hours they work, only complaint I have was having to leave.. Definitely come back! More
Never again not what it's says on the tin!
A terrible week where to start, there was that many things wrong with this place as a 4star all inclusive it's hard to know where to begin. First off this complex may be ok at more peak times but don't go this time off year because simply this hotel should not be advertising holidays for the week 23rd October till 30 oct (half term for some schools). I could go into all the details but that will take far too long so I will just point out the main things that made this holiday so bad. Food: the worst food I have ever experienced at a hotel, no selection, never hot, do not believe anyone that said food was nice here because I simply do not believe them if they stayed this week and think they have been sweetened up by the staff to write good reviews. For example one night there was 6 cold seasoned chicken based dishes that looked like they had been recycled off the night before, For breakfast one day I heard a lot off guests complaining about runny fried eggs and then I seen a photo taken of this I personally tried the breakfast once and never tried it again because it was that bad. I could go on but all I will say is I lived off bread and butter and cold chips for 3 of my days holiday. No hot water in room Luke warm at best apart from last 2days after repeatedly reporting it had to have a shave with water from a kettle. not what you expect from four star hotel Entertainment was none existent for adults apart from one night with Turkish dancers and a belly dancer. There was no excuse for this, were we being penalised for the time of year we came . Amphitheatre was closed penalised again Slides only open 4 hours a day penalised again. Found the staff very rude and unhelpful and heard they were quite intimidating towards women. Soft drinks were poured out off plastic water bottles and heard the gas was finished in the pumps penalised again. Wi fi never worked for long. Poolside very slippery and did see a few nasty falls but they did try to combat this with green non slip mats dotted round in certain places. Gym 70% of machines broke Complex barbour shop closed for last four days i did want a haircut and a Turkish shave penalised again. About The resort altinkum: Outside of complex went to linekers bar once and tried to be robbed of change twice. Found the resort very rough even the stray dogs walked around in pairs can't say much more apart from I did get a decent breakfast at pinochios. Shops were okay if you like copy gear. I could go on and on but don't want to sound like I am nit picking this is my first review I have ever done and we are a normally a happy go lucky family and have stayed in (lesser hotels) and had a fantastic time (and much better food ) but for the money we paid to stay here I definitely expected better. Will never ever come back, in fact it has put me off turkey for my xmas dinner. Was compensated 7.5% off thomsons and 2.5% off the hotel to prove there must have been some kind of problem. But this does not get away from the fact holidays are precious and you want to have happy memories with your family, I don't get many days holidays off work a year and this is one week I will happily forget.More

We stayed here last year with family so it wasn't my choice of county of choice of hotel but it was a good holiday, we were all inclusive which was fine but I found it boring for a ten day holiday and I'm not a fan of busy buffet-type restaurants. That said the food was very good and there was a lot of choice and the restaurant setting is spectacular on top of the cliffs overlooking the bay and promenade. Myself and my girlfriend like to eat out so the buffet thing got boring quickly and there isn't much in the area in the way of nice restaurants. They do have an Italian a la carte restaurant and a Chinese place, both of these were very nice but of course these are not part of the all inclusive package but we tried both and found them to be a welcome change. The poolside bar and the pier at the beach was where we spent most of our time being all inclusive making the most of the deal, the service here was exceptional. The beach was nice if a bit crowded, but lovely clear water. There were plenty of things to do with regards to water sports and such and it is quite nice to have a beer on the pier watching the endless amounts of boats go by. The hotel was very clean and relaxing with golf carts to take you everywhere on the resort. We went to the adult pool a few times which was nice and relaxing too with only ever a handful of people there at a time, mainly because there was no bar and everybody is all inclusive so stays at the main pool for the convenience of a bar, snacks and ice cream parlour. The room was slightly boring but very clean and tidy. I spent some time wandering around the area and was very pleased I was staying at Palm Wings as it is seemingly the best hotel around by quite a distance, everything else was tacky and dirty. Overall the hotel was very good the service was the best part, everyone was very polite and couldn't do enough for us. I would recommend the hotel to families with children who need an all-in-one kind of hotel with good service, convenience and facilities for children in a pleasant setting but It wasn't myself and my girlfriends cup of tea.More
