MASS IT OUTAGE – INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS DUE TO TRAVEL ON 21/07 – 22/07
Due to the global IT glitch affecting Windows computers and servers, the overall service level of our suppliers has been impacted this weekend and a number of our customers holidays remain affected. This outage also applies to partner systems including TUI, other airlines and local airports.
First Choice and its partners are aware of the situation and are working hard to resolve the issues.
If you are due to travel with us on 20/07, or 21/07, we ask for your patience and understanding. Customers should travel to the airport as normal unless contacted by your airline directly. However, please plan ahead, expect longer waiting times and regularly check with your airline for updates. Further information about your airline and potential disruption can be found here:

MASS IT OUTAGE – INFORMATION FOR CUSTOMERS IN DESTINATION DUE TO TRAVEL HOME ON TUI FLIGHTS ON 20/07 – 22/07
Due to the impact of the global IT outage on Friday 19th July we would like to extend our sincere apologies again for the disruption for those customer due to return home on a TUI flight.
Customers due to travel home on a TUI flight should consult their TUI communications and the TUI travel information site for the latest flight information.
Please note, some flights will now be split across different inbound flights, this information has been sent to the lead customer via text and email so please make sure to check which inbound flight you will be returning on.
Transfer information will also be sent directly however those who have sourced their own accommodation will need to make their own way to the airport and will be able to reclaim this cost.
Customers who need to contact us can call +4420 38 303 111 (calls from abroad will be charged at international rates).
If you have booked your own hotel then please keep your receipts and we will reimburse reasonable costs. You can also claim for your meals and soft drinks here.
If you have been able to source a flight home by another airline please also keep those receipts and submit your claim here.
We absolutely understand this not the end of your holiday that you would expect and sincerely apologise again for the impact this has had.

MANCHESTER POWER OUTAGE
We would like to apologise to everyone impacted by the power outage that took place at Manchester Airport on Sunday 23rd June.
We are pleased to confirm that every effort is being taken so customers can go their holiday as planned, and we have not cancelled any flights. Customers due to fly today have been contacted directly via text message and email about new flight departure times.
Although this situation is outside of our control, we’d like to apologise for the inconvenience caused and reassure customers that we are working closely with the Manchester Airport team.
The below flights will now operate on Monday 24th June.
- TOM2708 to Kefalonia – Departure time 15:10
- TOM2750 to Faro – Departure time 18:30
- TOM 2770 to Dubrovnik – Departure time 13:30
- TOM 2730 to Paphos (now TOM2774) – Departure time 15:40
- TOM2774 to Larnaca – Departure time 17:35
- TOM2776 to Tenerife – Departure time 15:00
We would also like to apologise to those customers who departed Manchester Airport without any bags, or had a leave the airport on arrival without their luggage. Our team are doing everything they can to reunite passengers with their baggage and already flying bags to their intended destination
