Hotel Don Pancho

The Hotel Don Pancho is anchored one block from Levante Beach, with a clutch of bars, cafés and restaurants right outside. The centre of Benidorm is only 15 minutes’ walk away, too.

It’s not hard to see why this place bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014 – the staff get heaps of praise, there’s lots of entertainment, and its location puts bars, restaurants, and sands all on the doorstep.

Bedrooms here feature comfy beds and a warm colour scheme. They all come with a balcony or terrace, too.

Paco, Antonio, Carmen all wonderful reception staff ( as are all the others )

Lovely warm welcome yet again and were allocated our favourite room once again . Also Ana Guest Relations Manager who goes out of her way for us. More positive changes since our visit in January this year. When we arrived in March this year, the safety deposit boxes had all been replaced. Much larger and no keys you use a room card to swipe them. Also they are now free as is the wifi throughout the hotel. You are given a letter on arrival giving clear details on how to use. Also, the room fridge is also free. We have been in so many hotels where all of these incur considerable charges. Well done Don Pancho! This hotel is closing on the 1st November this year for another major refurb. Now we are aware that Benidorm is not an inplace to be but this hotel is the best with great staff, very good food and drinks continue to be reasonably priced with good measures. This hotel does not have many children staying there other than some Spanish families who we have found to be friendly.More

Full On at the Don

My Partner Jayne and I had never been to Benidorm and at first were hesitant about the place and the hotel. We need not have worried we had a wonderful holiday 14 days at the Don Pancho which was a delight. Maria and her staff are to be congratulated on making our holiday very special. From Alejandro, Raymond and all the reception people to Miguel Nomi and all the restaurant waiters and chefs everything was done to ensure our comfort. A nice touch was that the room safe was free as was room service. The use of key cards added to ones security as there is no way that anyone would know what room one was in. We upgraded our room to a Superior Room after the first week and were given a better (higher) floor which gave us a better view of the nearby Levante Beach. I should say that all the rooms have a view of the beach. The beds were better in the superior room and there was a large screen TV. There were tea and coffee facilities in this room and we were provided with bath robes and slippers. The buffet meals were always well cooked with plenty of variety. Simply by providing your room number you could choose whether or not you went to lunch or dinner. Entertainment of varying degrees was provided and there was a pleasant lounge to relax in. From what I understand there are no dedicated disabled rooms although there are reserved seats for disabled persons in the restaurant. The hotel will close throughout the winter for major refurbishment, however due to the structural alterations needed to provide dedicated disabled rooms this will not be undertaken. I can say however that more walk in showers are planned which should assist the disabled. Would we return to the Don Pancho? You Bet!!More

Excellent location Benidorm

Travelled to Don Pancho to meet up with friends who stayed for the week there. We checked in and were offerred an upgrade to the newly refurbished rooms on the first floor. They were of a very high standard and comfortable beds with one of the best showers ever-enough room for two to fit comfortably. Lots of extras-comb, toiletries, tooth brushes, emery boards , free WIFI and secure safe...etc etc. Breakfast was great lots of choice fresh fruit, cereals, cooked items, tea, coffee toast all self service though no queues. Dinner was also buffet style with lots of choice. The entertainment in the evening free for all. Simple walk to town centre, shops and beach within minutes - so fabulous location very central. Highly recommend this hotel for a short or longer holiday in Benidorm.More

Jenny, from Yorkshire

We have just returned home after staying at this hotel for 7 days, stayed their six times now, we had our first complaint on this visit has we had trouble with the water running away in the bath the Thompson rep sorted the problem straight away and we got moved to another room, this hotel is spotless the cleaners even wash every sun lounger every morning, we found the pool attendant very lazy he sits on the loungers and watched people carry their chairs to the other side off the sun terrace, it's a pity the other guy left. The food is amazing something for everybody you will not go hungry at this hotel 10 out of 10 for their lovely food, big thank you to the excellent meat chief rai always has a smile and a chat to you, and thanks to mage l , you would think he was on roller skates brilliant at is job you don't have to wait long for a drink when he serves you.hope to return in the autumn before the refurbishment and let's hope the prices don't go up in the spring 2016.More
