Hotel Don Pancho

The Hotel Don Pancho is anchored one block from Levante Beach, with a clutch of bars, cafés and restaurants right outside. The centre of Benidorm is only 15 minutes’ walk away, too.

It’s not hard to see why this place bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014 – the staff get heaps of praise, there’s lots of entertainment, and its location puts bars, restaurants, and sands all on the doorstep.

Bedrooms here feature comfy beds and wooden furniture, with walls painted in a warm peach and white colour scheme. They all come with a balcony or terrace, too.

Lovely Hotel

We stayed for 2 weeks midd Oct .Traditional Hotel ,very comfortable with good food.We did not upgrade to superior room (20 Euros per night) and found our room 503 clean, comfortable with lovely view over pool to beach. Our only gripe was that restaurant tables were too close to each other. We do not like talking to strangers whilst eating,so tried to find table beside outer walls wherever possible-a little more private. One evening I asked for a suitable table to be cleared and prepared for us but the waiter was peeved and did not do it.We moved to a laid up table (next to a talkative couple). Entertainment not brilliant but the hotel was close to the entertainment hub of Benidorm. On the whole a really lovely HotelMore

Classy Hotel

Great hotel with all the Staff do a wonderful job. We have stayed there many times in the last 10 years and it has always been excellent. My only complaints are that they do not enforce the rule about removing items from the pool beds if left empty for over an hour and the fact that there is huge queue,s at 7.00 p.m. for the Restaurant. Surely they could open a little earlier for Dinner as most of the Clients are rather elderly and would prefer to eat early. The menu seems to always remain the same over the years and it would be nice to have a change if only swapping the Lunch menu with the Dinner one. All said and done these are the only faults I can find, and we will continue to go there again.More

Fed Up With Smoke

Another wonderful holiday at the hotel,:- reception, dining, bar and cleaning staff do a great job and makes for a smart clean hotel, serving good food, good bar service and very helpful reception staff. Only problem I had was that we have never noticed before the smoking that goes on on the terrace near the pool. My wife and who do not smoke and do not like to sit in the direct sun always sit on the right as you go out onto the terrace; normally no one smokes in this area. This year it seemed constant that people were smoking and as we like to purchase and take our lunch and have a drink in this area it seemed we had to consume constant tobacco smoke Why cannot the hotel operate in accordance with European law making none and smoking areas, and an area free from smoking where food and drinking are served. The hotel as plenty of room on the terrace. .Another family also sit in the area from Belgium and like us they got fed up with it. We did speak to the Reception but they said nothing could be done and the Thomson’s rep was a waste of time. We are currently considering whether we return in the spring like we do every year spring and autumn because of the smoking.More

Great hotel

Just returned from our 2nd holiday at the Don Pancho. We upgraded to a superior room I must say the room was lovely and plenty of hanging and draw space and lovley little personal touches I really recomend this upgrade we were in room 1204 While on holiday it was my birthday at dinner I was presented with a bottle of champagne, the food and entertainment was good, all staff from the maids to management where pleasant and helpful. A special thanks to our Thomson rep Sid he was always at the hotel when the notice board said and very aprochable and polite, he would go the extra mile to help you. Now this is not a complaint but I feel some of the upgrades need double beds we personally don't like the tiny single beds Also the restaraunt had a curtain closing off a small extension of the restaraunt! I really feel this should of been opened up as the hotel was very busy and we were sat like sardines this became embarrassing as when you lifted your head you was looking at someone else's food plate, tables were so close. We certainly will be back next October befor you close in November for the refurbishment.More

Great Position

Lovely hotel, in a great position for the beach and local bars etc, very pleasant and helpful staff. Had a bit of a problem at breakfast with too many people looking for too few tables but generally very good. The bar staff were very efficient, and the prices were very good and competitive. One problem was that after dinner we went into the entertainment lounge for a coffee and a brandy but were advised that if we wanted coffee we had to go downstairs as they did not serve coffee in this area ,which meant you could not relax after dinner and watch and listen to the entertainers with a coffee.Crazy. Another problem was on a Saturday evening the locals seem to take over the hotel, we finished dinner at approx 9pm but no tables or seats were available as they had all been taken by non residents, several residents like us were unhappy with this situation particularly on a saturday evening. However overall we had a good holiday and enjoyed ourselves.More
