The Hotel Don Pancho is anchored one block from Levante Beach, with a clutch of bars, cafés and restaurants right outside. The centre of Benidorm is only 15 minutes’ walk away, too.
It’s not hard to see why this place bagged a TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence in 2014 – the staff get heaps of praise, there’s lots of entertainment, and its location puts bars, restaurants, and sands all on the doorstep.
Bedrooms here feature comfy beds and wooden furniture, with walls painted in a warm peach and white colour scheme. They all come with a balcony or terrace, too.

Excellent as usual.
I have stayed in the Don Pancho 4 times and have not been disappointed. The position of the hotel makes it suitable for someone who cannot walk far. It is a level walk to the long prom and there is a bus stop outside the hotel. The food is good quality and varied. The staff are attentive and helpful. The entertainment is for the older set. There is sequence dancing Tue, Thu and Sat evening in the downstairs lounge. Upstairs there is more dancing and entertainment 6 nights per week. The hotel has been partially refurbished and will be closed Nov - Spring so the rest can be refurbished. The pool is indoors and was too hot last year and for the most part too cold this year. I got the impression is was heated in the morning then allowed to cool throughout the day. This year the wifi was free and worked well. There is parking and charging points for electric buggies in the basement of the hotel.More

Stayed here for 2 years running and would return. Location excellent along with good food. Only downside was unable to get sunbeds most days as refuse to queue at the pool doors to reserve before breakfast. Had high rooms with great view and very quiet.More

Over priced for upgrade...
My friends booked with the travel agent for two weeks I was going for one week no single rooms available so I phoned the Hotel to see if I could have a bed in there room they said yes. So I went with that my friends got to the hotel first the room was to small for three beds so we upgraded to a junior room for â¬30 a night it was fine but when I went home they still had to pay â¬30 or move to a smaller room, the pool is to small and the queue in the morning when the doors open for run for the sunbeds can only have your towel on them for one hour but we was they some was on all day and came back at 6 to take them off,, the food was lovely but warm, there was a microwave so that was okMore

Stayed first two weeks November. Old fashioned hotel programmed for upgrade next year. Some rooms already upgraded but you are expected to pay an additional 20 EUR per couple per night supplement otherwise you get one of the older rooms. So if you book this hotel you get an old room unless you pay a premium for an 'upgrade' at check in! Upgraded rooms are about 4* - bathroom not upgraded yet (the one we had on floor 11hadn't been). Stayed in older room on floor 7 in September which was very aged and definitely well below 4* standard. The point I'm making is, that this hotel is classified a 4*star and as a PLATINUM by Thompson yet you get below standard room if you don't pay a premium for an upgraded but still only 4* room. Yes they throw in a half bottle of sherry, a bowl of fruit, two 250 ml bottles of water a day and toiletries in little bottles but the cost of these are minimal. I feel that the hotel and Thompsons should not be charging additional costs and instead they should give customers who are allocated the older, yet to be upgraded rooms, a discount of 20 EUR per couple per night since they have paid for 4* accommodation and if booked by Thompsons have booked a PLATINUM holiday! Other than all posted above this is an excellent hotel in all other aspects.More
a very good hotel
Stayed in room 1706(refurbished,superior room) on half board. This is the 6 th time we have been to Benidorm, and this is the best hotel by far.The view of Benidorm and the med were fantastic.all the staff were friendly, helpful and informative.A very disabled friendly hotel, with 4 lifts and ramps. On half board you have the option of lunch or dinner ,without making any arrangements, just turn up for either. The food was good, but at dinner I found the soup was very watery and the sweet had little choice,if you didn't like cakes. There is a weighing scale provided in the luggage room(50 cents),but it weighs 0.5kg over to what the Alicante airport scales weighs. But overhaul you wont be disappointed with this hotel.More
