Family hotel which meets all expectations: clean big mini-apartment rooms (stayed in a Royal Terrace with jacuzzi which added that extra value), well-kept outdoor environment, friendly and patient staff especially with children, lots of daily activities to keep everyone busy, attractive kids pools (water was cold as expected), food and drinks in abundance all day and night. Area surrouding hotel is somewhat a bit shabby but the beach promenade, 10 minute walk, is lovely and makes for enjoyable walks. Playa de Muro is 10mins away by car.More
This is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in, I would say it caters manly for families but we had no problem adjusting to all the children. We had an apartment although we were AI, it was spacious, well stocked with pans crockery and cutlery and very clean, there was also a two ring cooker, microwave and fridge. All the meals we had were well prepared with plenty of choice to suit everybody. For the children, they had their own pools, water park, play area, trampoline and bungee frame, with pony rides available 3 days during the week.My wife had an accident on our second day which required us to go to a local clinic, the reception staff could not have been more helpful. They called a taxi for us, told the driver which clinic to take us to and payed for the fares both ways. One of the directors,Antonio Marti, sent my wife a bottle of wine and the J2 rep, phoned us to see if we needed any more help.We had 10 wonderful days, the grounds are spacious, well looked after and lifeguards were on duty at all the pools.A great place for a family holiday.More

This was our first holiday abroad with our three year old and we were unsure what to expect from a hotel chain we have never used before .... we booked a royal terrace for a week all inclusive. It was worth every penny. My daughter absolutly loved every minute of it the pools (although really cold) the kids club the room and the entertainment. Everything was clean and tidy staff were extreamly pleasant . The kids entertainers were fantastic and worked so hard ... we didnt realise my daughter could use the kids club at the beggining of the week at it said age 4 to 7 or 7 to 11.... but after speaking to a few other parents we realised we could .... oh how i wished is known that earlier .... she loved doing the craft activities they had thought of and having lunch with bufo (pirate character) i felt she was too young to leave her alone however it was fine for me to stay with her amd i must say it feels really safe and secure and the staff were amazing with the kids if you wanted to leave them ... they spoke most languages between them and after knowimg my daughter for 30 mins they all knew her by name for the rest of the holiday . We loved the roof terrace and got plenty of use from it ... when our daughter was having daytime naps and a few early nights we had the jaccuzzi and the balcony for some piece and quiet.... beach was only a short wlk away too and that was also very clean and tidy .... we ate at the hotel everyday on the all inclusive .... it was all nice but our only groan about the food was sometimes it wasnt hot enough .... the pool bar where u ate from a menu was lovely and always piping hot and if you wanted you could take the food away back to your room. Drinks could be taken from there back to your room also . The evening entertainment was good on the days we went there ... a girl group and a magic show . Transfirs to and from the hotel were also reasonable (about an hour and a half and we were last drop). The only down side to the hotel was there was no option for room service ... we normally wouldnt use this service but because we were in the royal terrace in the jaccuzzi at night we kept having to get out and changed and then down to the bar ... where you wernt allowed to take a tray so you could only take one/two drinks at a time back to the room ....sounds lazy but quite a effort to when if you were just allowed a tray like at the pool bar it would solve the issue. All in all tho this definatly didnt spoil our holiday one bit and we are thinking of returning again . Thankyou to all the staff for making it such a memorable first holiday abroad for our daughter. Look forwadd to visiting again soon !!More
Just got back from Viva hotel. Wouldn't attempt to go in the pools before dinner as they are freezing cold even the "heated" pool was freezing!! Stayed self catering but used the eating place mainly for the buffet tea, if you like fish you will love it mainly fish dishes, The entertainment was done in Spanish/German speech with very little English spoken by the entertainment. Avoid the shop on site as very pricey, there is a big supermarket near the local petrol station which is very cheap roughly 10mins walk. Enjoyed our stay and would defiantly go back, but since hotel changed name the prices have changed, shame really. Beautiful hotel More
Another fab viva hotel
Just finishing up on our weeks holidays at the viva can picafort and we have not been let down. This is our 4th stay at a viva hotel and all as good as each other. Fab friendly staff. And beautiful grounds and spotless rooms. And so much entertainment for children. Only thing we found is it is remote compared to Palma nova or alcudia. Just found there wasn't much around the beach area but that didn't ruin anything for us as we were all inclusive anyway. More
