Great hotel for relax and drink
Attention from the personnel was great although there were some bartenders that need to smile more, they look that there were mad with something, but most of them are very friendly, rooms was clean and spacious, food was very good overall but you may consider that there are a lot of good tequilas in budget that is not as bad as Orendain maybe go directly to the supplier in Jalisco, beach was amazing, is good to see that they keep it clean i think they should consider installing more palapas at the beach, entertainment group was ok, my suggestion is that since you mark that 8 pm is a kids show, then they should mark that las show is adults only, that way the can be more creative, and not just dancing, we definitely will come back.More
Amazing Hotel, Super Friendly Staff
Stayed here beginning of May with 6 friends for my friends 30th birthday. It was my first time in Mexico and I loved every minute of it. Seven days just wasn't enough. Greeted with an icy cold cocktail which was needed after a nearly 10 hour flight, rooms was perfect, cleaned everyday by the most friendly maid Iv'e ever met. Always had a smile on her face. Pools was nice and clean, entertainment staff was excellent, I never actually seen them sit down they was always on the go with a smile on there faces all the time. Ive been all inc before and was little wary, but wow I was proven wrong, food was AMAZING!!!!! Went to the Thai and Steakhouse and I highly recommend anyone staying here to try the t bone steak, amazing! Drinks was delish, and pool area staff always making sure you had an icey cold drink in your hand :) I never book anywhere twice as I always like to try different places but I really would book here again. We even left a note for wine to be left in the room and the same day, white wine was left in the fridge for us. FANTASTIC!!!More

This Hotel is located in the hart of Cancun, very easy access to all clubs and bars. all walking distance to all shops. Please keep in mind that we traveled during Spring Break and mejorety of their guest where young adults, hotel has only two pools, one of which is a Bar and the other one was for all young kids to play volleyball, this hotel is not suitable for family Vacation .More

The most amazing place & hotel ever!
Firstly I would like to say that the Sports & Entertainment team at this hotel are amazing. They are so friendly, happy and hard working and made my time here even better - special mention to Joey & Alex. Also special mention to Marlene who looked after us a breakfast every morning, she was brilliant. This was my 3rd visit to Riu Cancun and this holiday was just as good as the others. On arrival we were allocated a room on the 2nd floor which didn't have a great view, so we requested to be moved and this was done for us the very next day - great service. The food and drink selection was excellent. My sister who I travelled with is quite a fussy eater and she loved the food and found something to eat all the time. Yes, the sun loungers do start to get reserved between 7/8am, but this happens everywhere all over the world, not just here. People have mentioned about bad smells in their rooms - we didn't have any bad smells in our room (0412). I honestly don't have anything negative to say about this hotel, it is fabulous and we can't wait to go back again soon. Tip for the girls: Don't bother taking your hair dryers, they don't work very well over in Mexico. Either take a decent travel hair dryer or just use the one provided in the bathroom.More
