A great location and a huge pool keep guests returning to the Bitzaro year after year.
The hotel’s on the outskirts of Kalamaki, just 5 minutes’ walk into town and double that to the soft-sand beach. Keep an eye out for loggerhead turtles - the sands are their nesting turf.
At the hotel, there’s a huge pool and a big buffet restaurant that serves up a real mix of dishes. There's also a decent portfolio of activities and entertainment.

Hotel very good staff outstanding they all work very hard.espesially nicki at pool bar. 20/10 if that is possible. Room cleaned every day with fresh towels.food plentiful and lots of choice, only down side to this was the food was not very hot even when you went in at start of service. Probably could do with extending the service time didn't feel that 2hours was long enough to deal with the amount of guests and sometimes had to wait for a table. Apart from that every thing else was very good.More

when we arrived at hotel,check-in was very quick and pleasent. Our room was excellent large double bed with separate kitchen / dinning room with 2 balcanys over looking the pool, room was cleaned to a high standard every day,Food was amazing, breakfast dinner and evening meal all had a vast choice of everything all at a high standard, warning there is a drees code in the main restaurant which is not mention in the Thomas Cook site.Amination team are great, they try to get ugh involved in there games without putting you under any pressure to join in,evening Entertament was mostly games but was fun to watch, also two Greek nights, beach and night life is a ten minute walk,do not buy your trips with the reps, lot cheaper outsideMore
Not for children!
Just arrived back from the Bitzaro Grande after a 7 night stay. Upon arrival the hotel seemed fantastic, checked in and went to our room (107). We had a cotbed for our little boy even though we hadn't requested one, the room was big and very clean. One person in our party was not staying at the hotel due to lack of room however they were very helpful in allowing us to purchase an all inclusive band so that we could still eat and spend time together. Food was fantastic, always plenty of choice, very hot, snack bar was made to order so always fresh. We never had to wait for a table or any food. The service on the restaurant waiting staff however let the overall dining experience down as they were cold and distant and made no effort to talk or make us feel welcomed. The pool looked fantastic and was always very clean with plenty of sunbeds, but the pools were absolutely freezing, with the children's pool being the coldest. The "entertainment" was not up to scratch, no children's entertainment whatsoever, and certain guests at the hotel seemed to have as much input as the entertainers themselves. As a family with a young child this hotel did not cater for us at all, we were told the hotel had a playground, this was in fact one slide and one swing that was out of the way of anything else at the hotel. There was a soft play room however we didn't use this. There was no entertainment, and no interest made to our son, lots of people seemed to frown upon children. Although I would say thank you to Angela on reception who made an effort to speak to my son every time we saw her. There has been mention of a gold band members scheme on previous reviews. We did not see any gold bands but there was certainly a double standard. The regular customers stuck out like a sore thumb, and did seem to get preferential treatment, while no effort was made to secure our repeat custom. We did notice as the week went on that whilst our room was nice, big and clean, we had been placed in a room overlooking the road, that had no sun whatsoever, and the little bit of light we did get at 8am was blocked by overgrown plants. When we put our son down to sleep at midday or early evening you could not sit out and enjoy sun from the balcony at all (or dry clothes). Had we been on a couples holiday I may be interested in returning to this hotel, however I would not recommend it to anyone travelling with a family.More
