A beachfront postcode and a top-notch pool make this place a popular pick.
As the name suggests, this beachfront complex looks more like a mini village than a hotel. The sugarcube apartments are surrounded by landscaped gardens, with a big pool in the centre of it all.
The bar and restaurant-edged prom is a short walk away. And you're about 10 minutes' stroll from the famous Tombs of the Kings.

If relaxing is all you want then Kefalos Beach is perfect
I stayed at the Kefalos Beach resort and I must say I was there for only 5 days but it was one of the most relaxing 5 days at the place in Paphos. Given the chance to do it again I would so do it. I hired a car from the resort and drove through the scenic view all the way to Aya Nappa and back. The place I stayed was very nice, clean, and staff very friendly. Do remember if you're indoors and it gets hot, if the aircon doesn't work, it doesn't mean it's broken, just means you have to shut all doors and windows for the sensor of the aircon to kick in.More

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment, on a half board basis. The apartment was quite large and was kept very clean. It had everything that was needed to self cater and the fridge was useful for keeping drinks in. A couple of things let the apartment down - firstly, the fact that the safe (payable) was on the floor at the bottom of the wardrobe. This meant that to access the safe you had to get down on the floor, which is not ideal for older guests! The second thing was that the bath was very narrow and if you pulled the shower curtain across you ended up with it stuck to you! This meant that the bathroom ended up flooded with water unless you came up with a plan to keep the water in the bath! There was a tv in the room, but you had to get the remote control from reception and pay a deposit so that you could use the tv. My advice is don't bother, as the tv is awful anyway! Also be warned not to sit on the edge of the soft furnished chair, as it tips forward (presumably turns into a bed?). The food in the buffet restaurant was very good, with a plentiful breakfast (although it did get a bit monotonous after 2 weeks!) and each evening was a different themed menu, which was nice. Paying for drinks is quite expensive and the service can be a bit slow at the bar, even when they are not particularly busy. One word of warning - towels for the sun beds are only available from 1000, so either take your own towels, or keep them from the day before and change them when the attendant arrives. Mind you, we still had one occasion when somebody (guess the nationality!?) threw our towels off our sun beds, because they had been on them the day before and had claimed them as 'theirs'! There is a good programme of activities during the day, which you can join in if you wish to, and the evening entertainment is very good. Wifi is only available in the hotel lobby, although you can pay for access throughout the hotel complex. However, we overheard somebody saying that the reception was very patchy, so it is up to you whether or not you want to pay to be frustrated! The wifi in the lobby is also a bit hit and miss and sometimes just completely disappears for a while, but on the whole if you are just checking emails/Facebook/whatever then it is adequate. There is also a well stocked shop on site, which is only slightly more expensive than local shops. It does have the advantage though of not having to walk at least 10 minutes to and from the shops (or bus stop) carrying your shopping. All in all this is a nice hotel and seems to attract a fair number of couples who get married there. The beach is rocky and not really suitable for children or non swimmers, but is good for snorkelling if you don't mind being knocked around by waves!More
Nice hotel catering for all ages
We stayed here the last 2 weeks of Sept 2016, travelling as part of a family group including very young children and grandparents (me included). This is an apartment style hotel with rooms being laid out in a village style, 4 apartments to a block. Between the blocks are gardened walkways with a chapel in one of the squares. Some of the walkways lead straight to the beach. There is a shop by the entrance to the hotel and cycles can be hired from reception. The room we had was very spacious with full kitchen facilities even though we went all-inclusive. Air conditioning was included and was not overly noisy. The food was excellent, with a good variety at every sitting. There is a waiter service for drinks although it is cafeteria style help yourself for food. The A La Carte restaurant in the grounds is well worth a visit, the food and service both being excellent. The pool is large and has a water feature at one end where water games are organised. There is also a child's pool. For those like me who prefer the sea, the beach is only yards away. It isn't the finest beach, the sand being coarse and looking grubby, but the water is clear and there are areas that are shallow enough for children. The biggest drawback is the number of cigarette ends in the sand - my grandchildren could not play without picking them up ! Perhaps the hotel could provide ashtrays, as they have at Coral Bay - hardly any cigarette ends there ! There is a footpath from the beach that takes you all the way to Paphos Harbour and everyone enjoyed this walk after dark. You can see the lights of the towns across the water and by the time you get to the harbour you will enjoy sitting in one of the numerous harbour side bars. Apart from the cigarette ends on the beach, the only other complaint that I have is the speed of service for drinks in the evening if you use the outdoor bar. They operate a system whereby one waiter takes all the drinks orders which are then brought out by a number of other waiters. As a result the drinks service is ridiculously slow. Despite the two minor moans, I would stay here again as we had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.More
Brilliant holiday with teens
We had a fantastic holiday here last August. The children in there teens loved it and would love to return they made some lovely friends of which they still stay in contact with. The entertainment team were fantastic. Food was great quite a range available and tasty for an all inclusive and we did not get bored of it due to the choice. We hope to return soon More
This hotel caters for everyone. You can sit back, relax and not be disturbed, or can get involved with loads of great daily activities. The hotel itself is very clean. Our room was huge with more than enough space for a family of 4 let alone just us 2. The night entertainment was good if a bit cheesy but that's to be expected. We stopped bed and breakfast and the choice was the same every day. Have had better breakfasts but it did the job. Location is fantastic and there is a lovely beach front walk into Paphos. Would definitely stop here again if we returned to Cyprus. More
