The hotel was good! We were holiday as a couple without children and hotel was good for us. But if you are going with family and childrens this hotel is really good! There was lot of activities for children and families. The food in the restaurant was really good! Really really big breakfast! Therw where everything. We didnt have all inclusove but if you want to try it its really worth it. There wasnt the same food everyday, there where theme evnings like canarian, italian, mexican food etc! The opposite of the hotel there is food shops but they are expensive. If you go out side the hotel and turn left and walk and when you see street on your left start walking that straight until you see two bigger food shop "hyper dino" and the othet one. There isnt long way to go (400-500m) They are really cheaper than the small ones! And there is cute restaurant opposite the hotel (littlebit on the left) named la rosa. There is good food and there is 3 course menu that cost 9,50e. The restaurant where allways ful! More
Fantastic place for a family holiday
We came home 3 days ago after spending 2 weeks at Parque Cristobal with all inclusive. We were 4 persons, 2 adults and 2 girls aged 9 months and 11 years. Parque Cristobal is an oasis in Playa de las Americas. The apartments are in small bungalows. Everything in the hotel is in a closed, safe and child friendly area. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was OK and had all the necessary equipment. And now to the best part: The staff at the hotel! We have never been to a hotel were we have been treated as good as we have at this hotel. Every employee at the hotel did what he/she could do to make our stay as good as possible. They were friendly, polite, nice with children, hard working, allways with a smile and allways with time for a little chat. The food at the hotel was delicious. Every meal was a highlight, and it was a lot to choose from...even for children who are picky! Every day had it's own theme; BBQ, Mexican... We are already longing back to the hotel and can highly recommend the hotel. Thank You Parque Cristobal for a fantastic holiday!!More

Great family holiday
Stayed here for a week all inclusive with our 3yr old and 5yr old and had a fantastic holiday. Our bungalow was very clean and we couldn't have picked a better position, we were right at the kids pool and had the sun all day. Food was good and there was always something for everyone. All the staff were lovely and very friendly. The only thing we as a family thought could have been better was the evening entertainment but I definitely would not let it stop us from returning. Well done to all the staff that really work hard and make this a great place to stay ð Thank you Parque Cristobal for giving us a great family holiday.More

You'll have a job to fault this place. Very clean and friendly, safe, quiet at night, but right outside the front door you're in the heart of everything with bars, restos, beaches all within a few paces away. Stayed for a week, 2nd week of January 2015. We stayed self catering but was given a free lunch the first day as the room wasn't ready... at 1pm! Food was rather typical all inc buffet style, but completely edible and quite a reasonable choice. There might well have been a refurb since some of the earlier reviews as we had a 32 inch flat screen tv with a good selection of English channels (for a start). Sunbeds were new with a secondary hinge for under knee support (see pics), and each bungalow has a pair so you can sit in your garden every day with no need to reserve sunbeds. Definitely recommended and we'll be back for sure.More

Great food, warm pools - first class staff.
We stayed here for a week, all-inclusive, with our 3 year and 4 month old, in a 3 room family apartment (think the resort has about 10 of these). Room was great (except for the stairs) and had: Main bedroom - 2x wardrobes, dressing table, bedside drawers, safe, double bed (2x connected twins). Other bedroom - 2x single beds, 2 x wardrobes, 1x table, 2x beanbags. Bathroom - double sink, toilet, bath with shower, seperate shower cubicle, soap dispensers (enough in these for about a week) Lounge - Large settee, table & 4x chairs, TV, drawer unit, high chair, baby change table and bath Kitchen - fridge, microwave, 2x electric hobs, sink, lots of crockery, pots, cutlery etc and washing up liquid. Rooms have fans and airco (airco not active due to time of year we were there). Our room was 157, near the main road. We could hear muffled noise / music from bars outside the resort, but nothing to complain about. Seemed to be a mix of nationalities without one standing out. Popular with Scandinavians. Food was great, especially considering price we paid (â¬1500, flying from Schiphol with Arke). Staff are excellent and make a huge effort with everyone. Chef will come out from the kitchen to see the kids and waiters make a real effort too, especially when some kids were upset / crying. Lifeguard is always busy, but always has a smile. The team were great ambassadors for the hotel. Not the most exciting looking of hotels, but the low level bungalows are pleasant and it feels like a small / cosy resort. Certainly not a luxury resort, but in this class of hotel I'd say it's extremely good value and worth a go. Many more positives than negatives, but listed a few for info. Other Positives (in no particular order): 1) Kids get to eat breakfast with Bamse (bear mascot) on wednesdays at 0830. Really well organised by reps. 2) Room came with baby cot, high chair and change table with baby bath. 3) Kitchen had everything you'd need for making own meals, including full size kettle. 4) Hardly ever a queue for omelette station or pancakes, unlike I've had elsewhere. 5) Bamse joins mini disco 3 times a week and also goes to see kids around pools about 1530 most days. Other Negatives: 1) Fruit juice at breakfast far too sugary. 2) WIFI not always operating. We sometimes got it in the room, mostly not. 3) Cakes at 1600-1700 are non-existent, but would have been eating them for the sake of it. Kids mini disco is on every day (except Sundays), but is on football area. Kids are still playing football at other end of pitch during disco. Not happy with risk of balls hitting the dancers. Hotel (and parents) should stop this - it's mini disco time (football can be played all day)! 4) First Choice advertise it as Splashworld. 1 kids slide and 1 for larger kids can hardly fit the name (but kids enjoyed them regardless). 5) Breakfast sausages had no taste. 6) Italian themed dinner was not that special. More effort put into other nights. Tips / Info: 1) You can apparently check-in online on their website and also specify room preference there. 2) Rooms not cleaned Sunday or Wednesday. 3) Safe can be rented for â¬18 per week (non-refundable). Large enough for a laptop. 4) Costs â¬15 per pool towel to hire. This must be paid in cash and is refunded at end of holiday. Towels can be swapped for fresh ones with lifeguard. 5) People reserve loungers. Would expect that if you do this by 0800 you normally get a decent spot. 6) Hotel has themed cooking dinners on set days of the week (Italian, BBQ, Asian, Mexican & Canarian). 7) TV has lots of channels including Tiny Pop for the kids and BBC World. There is no BBC1 / 2, ITV etc.More
