Mythos Studios combine a peaceful setting with a nearby beach and walk-to bars and restaurants.
These studios are in a hideaway spot amid rolling countryside layered with pine trees. That said, they’re only 10 minutes’ walk from a sandy beach, and even closer to shops, bars and restaurants.
There’s a rectangular pool for swimming. And drinks and snacks come courtesy of a pool bar, which is also open in the evenings.

Stayed at the Mythos for 2 weeks, its ran by a lovely family who were very friendly. The apartments are clean and I would say standard for greece, the pool area is nice and spotless but the sun beds definitely need cushions as you couldn't lay on them for long which meant we spent less time around the pool than normal also the pool is in the shade mostly by 3pm which for a sun lover was a bit disappointing and the kids pool was a little too deep for our daughter. Food at the bar was very good and was cooked until late at night which we found helpful. The location of the Mythos seemed to suit some people and not others, we found it great as we like walking and we like being in a rural location but we heard others say it was too far from the centre of Troulos. Troulos itself was a poor resort we felt, it seemed to lack any atmosphere or personality, whether that be lively or typical Greek ..it just wasn't anything and although the food was good in restaurants it was more expensive than the rest of the island. Overall a lovely holiday we would stay at the Mythos again if Troulos was better but Skiathos had much better areas to stay in.More

We stayed in this resort for 2 weeks from the 29th August. As previously mentioned the location of the hotel could be difficult for people who struggle with their walking, but for us was no problem at all. We found the apartments to be basic but had adequate pots and pans if you wanted to use them, however food was served at the bar and with so many good tavernas you don't really need to cook! Fortunately we had read the reviews and took lilos so we found the sunbeds to be no problem. However Stavros told us that he is replacing them all with comfy ones this winter. We found the pool and bar areas to be perfect for us. The pool was big and clean and the bar was well stocked and sociable Stavros and his team were fantastic and made us feel very welcome. We would have no hesitation in returning here next year.More

Quiet, friendly and a great place to stay.
We had two weeks at the Mythos arriving on the 29th August. As all the reviews have stated your luggage is taken from you at the airport and transported separately and the coach drops you off at the Christakis then its about a 10 minute walk through a field then up a concrete road to the resort. All this worked well and was all part of the fun. Going home was the exact reverse. Stavros and the team were great and couldn't do enough for you. His home-made food is really good and prices at the bar are reasonable.Towels/sheets are changed every couple of days and yes the apartments are basic but hey that's what you get in Greece. Beach is about 10 minutes walk away and some reviewers said they could not find the path , well all you have to do is ask and Stavros would have told you. Jamie the rep was also very helpful and around to answer any questions that we had. Troulos Beach is really nice but very busy and sunbeds cost 8 euros for the day. You have to get down there fairly early as the beds on the left side belong to the Troulos Bay Hotel and the residents get them for free ( I think). No more Germans or Russians putting towels on the Sunbeds this is all done by the English blue rinse brigade who are everywhere at this resort. The majority of people holidaying here are British and the resort has developed to cater for this. If you are looking for an authentic Greek holiday then don't go here. We hired a Jeep for a few days and travelled up to the north of the island where the beaches are more remote and less touristed which was lovely. A visit to Skiathos Town is a must as is going the airport to get blasted by the aircraft taking off. Great fun. We went in lots of the Tavernas and never had a bad meal. Our favourite was the Victoria because of its selection of food including curries made by a Bangladeshi chef ! Worst experience was in the nearby Sunrise Taverna where we waited nearly an hour and a half for our main course. Food in the Sunrise is amazing but the service was abysmal and the serving staff seem to be more interested in drinking that serving! All in all it is a great place to have a holiday. All the flights were great, Rep was great,Mythos Resort lovely and quiet.More

Recently returned from a two week stay at the Mythos apartments. This was our twelfth visit to Troulos but first time at these apartments. There is a hill to climb to reach the complex but did not find this to be much of a problem but understand it could be difficult for people with walking or breathing problems. We received a warm welcome from Stavros and family upon our arrival. Apartments were typically greek, basic but spotlessly clean and bed linen and towels changed frequently. We had a nice view from our balcony and the complex has very peaceful surroundings. The swimming pool is lovely and well maintained but the sunbeds are so uncomfortable and would suggest they either provide padded mats for them or replace them altogether. At the pool bar you can purchase breakfast and light snacks at lunchtime which are most enjoyable. During the evenings it was nice to meet up with other guests at the bar which was run by Stavros and Stathis who makes a mean cocktail. we enjoyed our stay here and would definitely return again.More

Jonnie&Karen "friendly & relaxing resort"
I've just read CoventryMaggie's review & am really surprised to read her remarks about our host Stavros! We found him to be nothing but friendly & helpful, never intrusive but always quickly on hand to advise if needed. The rooms are simple, cool, comfortable & cleaned every day. Towels & sheets changed every couple of days , which we've never had from similar accommodation elsewhere in Greece. The pool area was always immaculate as was the bar & all public areas. Stavros & Stathis both make a mean cocktail (not overpriced at 5 euros) and infact were happy to go off menu & look up how to make a Long island iced tea at Jonnie's request! Also the bar food was always freshly homemade & tasty. Troulos itself is a quiet beach village with quite a few tavernas & a lovely beach. Skiathos is lovely but a very small island, so a week was plenty of time to sightsee & chill out.More
