Eat Goan fish curry on the beach

Goan food has a Portuguese influence so fiery food is mellowed for European palates. The beach shacks make good use of local ingredients – think net-fresh seafood, coconut, rice and cashews. Try crab xacuti – cooked with coconut and spices – and Goan fish curry, washed down with Pana Kam, a ginger and jaggery drink with coconut water.
