    This stylish hotel's right in the middle of the Nomad district – its rooftop bar boasts unbeatable views of the Empire State Building.

    The Arlo Nomad's in a great spot for sightseers. The walk to the Empire State Building takes five minutes, and it's a seven-minute stroll to get to Madison Square Park. Plus, the nearest subway station's just a minute away on foot.

    This hotel makes itself at home in the trendy Nomad district – and it fits right in. Decor-wise, dark wood, soft lighting and communal spaces work together to create a home-from-home feel. Extra touches, like a pinboard where guests can tack up their travel tips, add to this.

    Note: this review is for pre-stay customer service. I have to share the excellent customer service I received at Arlo NoMad. Steven Lantigua, was very help with correcting a reservation I had made online through my booking agent. Steven was polite, patient and friendly. If this is any indication of what my boss will experience next week during his stay...he will be well taken care of. Which is all I can ask for.

    I almost didn't even want to review because this hotel is one of the best kept secrets in New York City. I've been coming here for a few years now and it's more than just a hotel. It really is an experience. From the artsy, boutique feel, to the incredible staff service and affordable prices - it's A+. The lobby host Carlos C went above and beyond checking us in, making sure our bags were taken care of, and even showed us around the hotel's common areas and amenities. I was really impressed with his level of customer service and he really made us feel welcomed and relaxed after a long day of travel. The room's views are stunning, and it's really all you need (and more). It also seems like they're constantly working on making the amenities even better as well, with a cool bar area, library, and lounge. During the warm weather, their rooftop is impeccable (another secret spot). 5 stars for Arlo Nomad and staff. Many Thanks to Carlos! Will definitely be back again soon.

    This is a superb hotel to visit! It offers plenty of space to enjoy time with family or friends. I highly recommend staying here if you are new to the country or to the state of New York. Most importantly, the lobby hostess Paola Munoz made me feel the most at home. Paola went out of her way to make sure I could see the best amenities that the hotel offers. It was a spectacular experience due to the hospitality that was displayed toward me. The tea was fantastic, as was the artwork and love letters on the elevator walls. This is the best hotel I’ve seen in a very long time!!!

    Stayed for 4 nights in Dec for a work trip.. funky "boutique" hotel in a really central local. Whilst I did have an issue with a bathroom fan which couldn't be switched off, the staff, and in particular Paola Muniz - Lobby Host, did absolutely everything to accommodate me including moving me from the 4th to the 26th floor into a much higher standard room with unbelievable City views. Hotel was clean, modern, smelled amazing! and had a lively vibe around the lobby area. For a short city break I would definitely recommend the hotel.

    We were lucky enough to celebrate our anniversary this past weekend at the Arlo Nomad. The manager, Maggie and her staff could not have been more hospitable and helpful in making our stay enjoyable and memorable. Special recognition to Steven and Carly. The hotel has a great vibe. The common spaces have an awesome design. The rooms are small but functional. Thank you again Arlo Nomad for a great stay.
