Stretch out at Praia De Gale
There are 5 kilometres of sand to play with at Praia de Gale, a 10-minute drive from Quinta Dos Alamos, so nobody’s going to cramp your style. Walk towards Armaçäo de Pera and you’ll find fishing boats beached in the sand. Head eastwards and it’s a more dramatic landscape of jagged limestone stacks and caves. Or stick in the middle for jet-skis, sunloungers, and restaurants that do a brisk trade come lunchtime.
