    This place has cracked the formula for laidback holidays – everything revolves around a long belt of sand out the front.

    The Alykanas Beach Hotel and Apartments is perched right on the beach. A figure-of-eight pool is a few steps from the shoreline, with a snack bar, a kids' pool and a play area by its side.

    A five-minute walk gets you to the town's main strip. It's tailored for families, with restaurants, supermarkets, bakeries and souvenir shops forming a line.

      The puddle-shaped pool's just steps away from the beach. It's set in a spacious terrace, with gardens surrounding it. There are parasols and sunbeds dotted around the edge, too.

    Would've been the third time returning, (29/09/20) but sadly had to postpone till 2021,, Alykanas/Alykes great place for food beaches clean an quiet, Hotel is great,plenty of sun-loungers 30 second to sea,

    Absolutely recommend this hotel and apartments. Great location and right on the beach. Nice pool area and lots of sun loungers. Friendly and helpful staff Close to restaurants and bars. Slightly tired and could do with a bit of TLC, however the apartments are clean and comfortable.

    Made our booking for the 9th (today) turned up and the hotel is completely shut down. Only life there is a guard dog on patrol. Absolutley disgraceful. Taking this to the papers to warn others about potential scams, pay for your hotel and it being shut yet saying it's available on hotels.com

    The hotel is fine. The rooms are basic but large enough and spotless, the cleaners do an excellent job. The reception staff are very pleasant. The location is perfect for beach and also so close to Alykanas and Alykes town centres. Some of the previous complaints are a bit harsh. All in all a good hotel. Now that Thomas Cook has gone and Tui taken over I hope it does not change too much only for the better.

    I have just returned from a recent family holiday staying here at Alykanas Beach Apart-hotel. This hotel is in the perfect location, right on the beach front with plenty of restaurants and shops close by. Also for anyone that struggles with walking the location is very flat which makes it easy for walking. If you are not bothered about going out of the hotel while sun-bathing the pool bar is great for either breakfast, dinner and tea or even beer o'clock! The rooms themselves could do with updating a little, but other than that they were very clean! We were here when Thomas Cook collapsed but the staff (including the Thomas Cook reps) were always there to make sure we were still enjoying the holiday. What made the stay a little better was the hotels dog Dave!! He's a sweetie, and loves a fuss, sunbathing around the pool/ beach and staying out till late around Alykanas partying! I would highly recommend it here, and I hope this gets taken over for the next season!
