Kaya Palazzo

This was our first vacay to a resort in turkey and the criteria were: fresh food and baby corner, 2 bedrooms with 2 bathrooms, spacious room as we were 4 adults and 2 babies: 8 months old twins. We booked a duplex family room, first floor main building. Positives Modern hotel relatively new, opened in 2013 and not so eclectic (oppulent) design. Fresh food especially the vegetables; poached eggs and on the spot omlette, in one day of the week fresh food sea: shrimps, saint jacuqes , oisters. 2 included meals in the livio streak and fish outside restaurant, wich were apleasant surprise (photo) Great choices of food even for babies: boiled vegetables, out, rice etc No added sugar (photo) Responsive personnel and very helpful with some minor exceptions. Baby trays and bibs for eating. Decent space at tables and large space to walk and grab food with the baby in the stroller Big rooms prepared for babies with 2 cots , baby bath basin. (Photo) Cleaning and towells changed daily and minibar always full. Very nice hamman and spa area, the cheapest massage was 80 eur or 120 eur for a pack of 2 services Narghilla was 50 eur at the lounge Cottage on the beach 100 eur One photo made by their photographers 10 eur ? negociabile if you bought more Negative Room: one bedroom had no window, only ventilation system The same room had a bath with a heavy smell constantly The hairdryer did not worked properly: to be changed: blowned only cold air Food: the orange juice was very diluted Not so much fruits variety: no avocado, mango, strawberry and other forrest fruits Beach: coldish water Very small umbrellas everywere: on the poll and the beach: we needed at least 4 umbrellas to obtain the shadow required : the hotel needs to invest in some large and decent umbrellas. I myselft could not manage to open one because they were so old and used The bar: classic cocktails only, no one ever heard of hugo cocktail?? , only a boy who came from another hotel made us a very good one. I would have given this hotel a 4 to 5 star review based on our first 5 days but unfortunately one of the babies got hand mouth leg disease with very high fever 39,9 celcius and in the last 3 days we just wanted to come home, luckily we had a mini pharmacy with us and were able to treat the baby there. The worst part was that also our other baby got the disease because it is very contagios and our retunr flight was a nightmare with vommiting screams and so on. Even though we have previously read other comments that this might occur we felt very courageous. Honestly I do not think we will be returning any time soon in Belek as I understand this disease is wide spread in their resorts. If you have older children this is a very nice place for them and I would not advice anyone who does not have children to come here and relax because this is a very popular place for families with babies, strollers parade as I have never seen so many baby zen yoyo strollers in one place.

My wife and myself have just returned home after spending two lovely weeks at the Palazzo.It was are 4th time at the Palazzo improves every time.The Livid Restaurant at lunch time has improved greatly food cooked to order,so good we put on extra pounds.The Main Restaurant food has improved with more choices and the service was top rate.Bump into the food and beverage manager who remember us straight away and sent a lovely gift to our room.We went to the steak and fish restaurant,first time we tried the fish restaurant and it was 1st class and the service was excellent.We send our thanks to the Management as the Hotel gets better every year hope to return next September to celebrate our 50 anniversary PS.Thanks to Aleksandra for a lovely room.It was nice to see old faces still there Densis and Omar as always got very good service from them.

Had the best week at Kaya Pallazzo! Absolutely loved my time here and am so sad to leave. The hotel is spotless always and the food is incredible (especially the salmon skewers at lunch time!). Big shout out to the bar staff who always kept our drinks topped up and also the animation team who made our time here really fun. Extra thanks to Mehmet who made us feel welcome from the first day and always made sure we were having a good time!
