I stayed here with my partner we had a very pleasant stay. please ignore the bad reviews. Like any hotel there will always be good and bad points. Staff- very nice and helpful at all times. Bar staff very happy and welcoming. Especially carmia. The staff here carmia helped my partner surprise me with a bottle of cava, flowers and cake for my birthday... amazing!!! Room- we initially booked a one bedroom apartment but upgraded to junior suite which was very big and nice. All rooms come with twin beds pushed together which wasn't convenient at the best of times :-). Be aware of the tiny insects in room. Balcony has sun loungers. Cleaners could don't do much in the room ask them if u want ur bed sheets changed!! Also if you are returning back home on a late flight, there are 2 options available which is €8 per person to keep luggage in a room until you leave the resort which gives you all inclusive benefits or there is another option available subject to availability which they may give the option to extend your check out until you need to leave for an extra €35 which means you have your room and all inclusive until you leave the resort. Food- quite basic but fills the hole.. pasta, fish, all different meats, veg, pizza, very good salad bar. If you arrive late they save you random cold meats etc. Bar- cocktails nice and strong, they also serve local spirits and shots. last drinks finish at 11pm which is a bummer but they have a 24 hour shop next door which sells cheap everything. pool-children and adult activities in the day, the pool staff are very happy and involve everyone. Spa- you get one hour free to use jacuzzi, steam room and sauna.. very nice. Excursions- there is a very talkative guy by the resort pool who you can buy excursions from at the best price. He loves bill Cosby!!! We did a monte cristo boat trip which was amazing please choose this trip together with Siam park. If you go out of the resort make sure you go to papagayo beach club the BEST restaurant on the island.. my partner took me for birthday we watched sunset and had an amazing meal. This place is good for day time lounging in the day and is a very popular club at night. Also try piccolo which is the best Italian we have been to, and lucky 7 burger place which has the best burgers!!! Both sea view settings .. This hotel is good for couples and families. If we returned to the island we would defo book this resort again!!! More
Never a 4 Star , should be two
Cold food and poor quality meat . Food is hit or a miss . Best get there early as some food not replenished . 90 % of the staff are great . But we did notice that the waiting staff were ignoring our table after a few days because we complained that the food was nine times out of ten Luke warm or cold . Reception staff are nice but powerless to help you . Manager was hard to find and could not care less. Entertainment poor . Sun loungers broken , Pools warm but broken tiles on floor , resulting in cuts to your feet . Advertised as 4 bars , only ever two open . On last day they made a mistake with our booked curtesy room . They gave us a public loo to change in on ground floor . I was not impressed and told the reception what I thought . They said it had two showers etc , Mens urinals no where to lay your case . This summed them up and the hotel . Oh and by the way a woman heard us complaining about food quality and temperature at reception . She told us she had been on a drip for 36 hours . She was there with one child ,( must have been a nightmare for them both). We wanted to change to another 4 star hotel after 4 th day as we gave them benefit of the doubt . On the beach could not find another hotel and we were going to be charged two days money from hotel . So we had no choice . Crap hotel , Worst I've been too , We read reviews before we went and thought it was just people moaning as some are excellent reviews . Most people we chatted to were eating out as fed up of hotel food . Would love to meet the manager again face to face . I seen him about two days after we complained and he could not look me in the eye. Put head down etc Only good thing was our room , it was a junior suite . So don't take the risk on this hotel .More
We arrived on the 29/09/17 stayed for 1 week we were a party of 10 6 adults and 4 children celebrating my in laws ruby anniversary, hotel was fantastic they had decorated my in laws room with flowers & swan shaped towels and a bottle of champagne lovely touch. The entertainment going on everyday for the kids & adults was great always something to do, pools were great, they had a kids splash area in the apartment area of the hotel my girls enjoyed this but I didn’t as it was in the shade all day. Food was good a bit repetitive, snacks were not good leftover breakfast food and it was cold, there was a bbq one of the days which was really good and we done cocktail making class which was fun the entertainers were a great laugh they made the holiday, night time entertainment was good for the kids different act on every night. Drinks weren’t the best hated the plastic cups at night. Was a fantastic holiday only downside was how far up the hill we were from the beach it was a good 10/15 minute walk. I would definitely recommend this hotel lovely staff and good atmosphere.More
PERFECT for famillies would definately reccommend
me and my family went here for ten days in august just gone 2017 and what a fantastic hotel i cant give it anymore praise the staff were absolutley lovely jonny on the front desk and fahiya( i think her name was ) on repetion made sure we had no problems and whatever we asked for they went above and beyond , the food was excellent and enough choice even for fussy eaters and we had three , our room was lovely and spacious beds are super comfy and the maids came to clean everyday and the pools were cleaned every morning , the entertainment was great with parrott shows fashion shows etc. All public areas of the hotel are very clean and no maintainence issues at all everything wotked and was too a great standard, if people have given a bad review for this hotel they are just picky and expect the world for their money because its totally worth every oenny and a pleasure to stay at and i for one will be going back.More
