Sheraton La Caleta Resort & Spa

Spent our 10th wedding anniversary at this hotel. First time to Spain. Staff were attentive and facilities great. Spa books up quickly so if you want to visit then book ahead. I couldnt get the booking I wanted so I had to find another spa location. Highly recommend this hotel. We will stay here again when next we visit Tenerife.

My husband and I stayed here for 7 days in February 2019 and enjoyed it immensely. The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was fantastic, and the rooms were lovely and spacious with large balconies for sunbathing. The pools were very refreshing and they had a hot tub in the middle. You can walk out the back gate and be right on the boardwalk and the beach. Because we enjoyed it so much, we went back again for 10 days in March 2020. While there, we were able to again enjoy all the lovely things the resort had to offer and then Spain went on lockdown for the Coronavirus threat. We had two days and three nights where we had to essentially stay in our rooms. We were still able to go to the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They gave us a special rate for the meals. The staff were fantastic. They were kind, helpful, and understanding. We had not eaten there for dinner before, and it was really marvelous. The chefs prepared a wide variety of prepared dishes and they had fish, lamb, pork, chicken and beef for the grill. It was unbelievably tasty! And, since we all had balconies, we could still sit outside, enjoy the gorgeous view, and get some sun. So, even though one would prefer not to have to quarantine while on vacation, the Sheraton La Caleta is not a bad place to have to do it! Would we go back again? Definitely.

This hotel reflects the high standard and quality expected from Sheraton (Marriott Group ) hotels. The reception was really friendly and helpful. As a Bonvoy card holder with elite status we were upgraded to a suit with lounge access, which was fantastic! Unfortunately the timing of our visit wasn't good as it clashed with the guidelines set by the Spanish Government to tackle the Coronavirus, so most of the hotel facilities were unavailable and of course we were restricted to the hotel. It was sad that we had to cut our stay short and opt for an earlier flight home, but we plan to return (when we can) to enjoy the full hotel experience. The staff were really helpful and understanding when coping with such a difficult situation - Thank You!
