Tabaiba Apartments

Just come back from a lovely week stay at this hotel, it was very clean we saw them cleaning the whole complex every day, we had a 2 bed apartment which was large it had a balcony looking over the pool, they come in twice the week was here they cleaned the room and changed the beds, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed in this hotel with my family of 6 and it was just perfect. The 3 2 bedroom apartments we had were massive, clean and had everything that we needed for our self catering holiday. The staff were lovely and helpful always on hand at reception to help and order a taxi when ever we needed. The cleaners came in 3 times a week and the pool was cleaned every day. Tv remote was €10 but our room already had it in and my sons just used the buttons on the side of their tvs so none of us had to pay. The WiFi was €26 /28 for 14 days and can be used for up to 5 devices and can be used by a joining apartments. Breakfast was€3.50 and was really nice. Happy hr was 5till 6pm every night but only on larger not spirits. Only bad thing the bar was closed at 9pm and no entertainment. Pool was small but still OK and no silly people putting towels on sun lounges at silly o clock. The laundrette is in the next complex across the road from the main apartments and also has another swimming pool. Supermarket,shops and bars were a good 15/20 minutes walk but only €3.50 in taxi. The main part of the restaurants, bars, shopping and beach is about 3o minutes walk but its a really lovely slow walk by the sea pathway. So if you want a lovely relaxing stress free holiday then I would highly recommend this hotel and its staff, Im definitely coming back here next year.

Where to start. I will not be too critical as these are budget apts and were a fair bit cheaper than others we looked at. Location wise they are a fair bit out of the action however that can be a good thing depending on your needs as they were very quiet. You are looking at 20 mins to the nearest beach and about 25 mins to the main town area. They do have a shuttle bus several times a day however we always walked it as it is in quite a nice residential area. We were in the newer block over the road which isn't nearly as pretty as the pictures of the older block, our one bedroom apt was really big and we got the sun on the porch which was lucky as at least half the apts were in shademost of the day. The place does feel a bit uncared for, our patio was half tiled and the rest was gravel which was full of cat pooh, cig ends cotton buds plasters weeds etc. Did mention it but no one did anything so ended up cleaning it ourselves as couldn't bare to look at it all week. The place has no greenery at all could really do with some plants to detract from all the concrete. The pool was small but useable , very few people used it that we saw but we enjoyed it. Self catering wise there was all you need, but maintenance could be better our outside light or cooker light didn't work. Quite a few firms use this place as accomadation for there reps, probably because it is cheap I suppose. Have to pay for Internet even if you just want it to check in for your flight. (We went to the occidental hotel which has open internet to check in flights etc) there is a TVs in the apt that got both bbc and itv which was good. It would be so simple to improve the tabaiba said apts especially the new block over the road which is just square and ugly, add some planters, weed the gravel and lift the cat pooh etc, put some patio furniture out instead of the half rooted picnic bench we had, somewhere outside to hang wet clothes (we had to use the broken dining chair). What I will say is we still had a good holiday and the apts were a good base. Would we stay here again-don't know ,suppose if the price was right.
