Grifid Encanto Beach

The best hotel here! We are coming every summer with family and friends: super quality, nice staff, delicious food! Recommended! The beach is very near and private. The pools are clear and very comfortable for children and parents. Alcohol is local, but not only :) Really nice place for vacation!

Although awarded only 4*this hotel largely deserves 5 *,it is one of the cleanest places I have seen, perfectly located at one, very quiet end of Golden Sands, practically on the beach.the management takes anti covid measures seriously, very well equipped with disinfectants, constantly cleaning tables, chairs,mattresses on the sunbeds, elevators, doors etc. We had a concept room, 529 well worth the extra cost, large,with an amazing sea view, large balcony, daily refilled minibar, cleaning lady extra careful, even received every evening fresh beach towels in our rooms.one thing we did not like the smell of the towels some strong chemicals and also the towels are extremely this and should be replaced. Beach is large, quiet, had a dedicated space on the beach as well as at the beautiful,perfectly cleaned infinity pool. Indoor pool also very clean, same at sauna and Turkish bath,very large spa area,had daily a very good massage from a professional lady, Tania who was always lovely. Food was well cooked, lots os choices, meat (lamb,chicken,turkey, beef, pork) fish, lots of vegetables , very good pies in the morning, freshly baked bread, good local beer,wide choice of fresh fruits. The only minus were the average quality of wine and the deserts which were way below average, the hotel must urgently hire a new pastry chef. Ate several times at the beach bar, very nice pizza and doner kebabs as well as at the a la carte restaurant for dinner the Mediterranean evening was very good the Bulgarian one not so much but we had a very nice local wine Kera Tamara Chardonnay outstanding for 40 leva (20 euros) per bottle..A very well trained waitress Stefana who would be real assest in any high end restaurant and speaking very good English. Staff very well trained, always smiling, doing their best to help you out. Bravo to the management and keep the high standard .We definitely will recommend this hotel and already planto return later this year.

Things that I liked the most: - room - sea view, clean, a lot of space, balcony, amazing bathroom, nicely decorated. Great air conditioning system. - food - 90% great, but it's all inclusive so you can just pick up something else if you don't enjoy a particular dish. Great diversity, we never experienced the "there's no food left" feeling. Great quality overall. The pizza on the beach is great and much better than most pizza in Romanian restaurants. - Infinity pool - just awesome. Clean water, proper temperature. Amazing view. Bar next to it. Awesome. - Beach - clean, space between sunbeds, umbrellas, bar. The seawater was warm and clean. - Gym - big, clean, towels, air conditioned. I really enjoyed it. - Other aspects: staff were always cleaning the place, picking up glasses, helping you. - Covid19 measures: staff were wearing masks all the time, guests not so much. The beach and pool area had a lot of space between sunbeds so you at least weren't sitting face to face with strangers. Sealed cutlery at the restaurant always. Tables cleaned immediately. No self serving, there were a lot of waiters giving you the food that you requested. The hotel gives you a pair of gloves and face masks at check-in. Keep your distance and stay safe. There wasn't anything in particular that really bothered me, but there were some minor inconveniences that I think the hotel administration could fix with little effort: - the reception staff were really trying their best, but unfortunately it was really hard to communicate with them due their poor English. Some days we stumbled upon people who were better skilled, but most of the time we used a combination of Romanian, English and signs to get to the point. - at check-in, I think it would help if guests were given a brochure - digital or paper - with all the info regarding meal times, access to the facilities and other useful details. - No iron to press your clothes. You could at least have some that people can request from the reception. The place is quite fancy and I'd would personally enjoy my time more if my shirts are nicely pressed.
