Carlos was a rude employee at front desk. We arrived in a group of 21 persons. And we were so bad welcomed, we were in line, and they passed some guest that was out of line...

Delighted with our two nights stay. (Well apart from the weather - but at least reception had umbrellas which we made exceptionally good use thereof) Lovely room, though the rain meant we didnt get to appreciate the terrace, very comfy bed, reception provided us with a blanket on request, as we didnt want the quilt. Very well equipped bathroomsadly the walk in shower wouldnt fit into our suitcase!

2 Nights at Catalonia Hotel

Our stay at the Hotel Catalonia in Granada was exceptional. The location is perfect, just steps away from the city center and all the tourist attractions. Additionally, having a nearby parking lot for only 15 euros a day was very convenient, although we would recommend unloading luggage first at the loading and unloading zone in front of the hotel.

We spent nearly 2 three weeks in Portugal and Spain staying in boutique hotels based in part on Tripadvisor and Condé Nast reviews. This was our least favorite of the 6 we stayed in. Its a mid range chain type hotel. The staff were inattentive and cold. The room was fine. The location is not as described. It's on two very busy streets NOT within a close distance to the Alhambra. We wanted to do two things in Granada- tour the Alhambra and wander the city. This hotel was located perfectly for both. We parked a block away and didnt need our car until we checked out again. It is an energetic walk to the Alhambra but very pleasant. And we walked for many blocks while exploring the city center.
