    Kim Kardashian wouldn’t look out of place at the adults-only, beach club-style, Z Club Hotel.

    The pulse of this hotel is the pool area where you can sunbake on a beanbag or on a mattress-thick sunlounger. There’s a bar next to the water, too, where you can sip cocktails in a hammock.

    This hotel breaks the mould as far as holiday entertainment goes. Forget aqua aerobics. Here you get an escape room, VR stations, a private disco area and live DJ sets by the pool.

    We booked this hotel through a travel agency, thinking their description of the relaxing atmosphere was accurate, only to arrive and hear blaring music with intense bass coming from the DJ booth. We voiced our concerns to the staff, specifically the PR woman, immediately, and she apologized and explained that this was the concept of the hotel and that she would try to help us resolve the issue. Despite our best efforts to contact or travel agency, they were no help. The next morning, the PR lady tells us we have the option to move to one of their partner hotels at no extra expense to us. She was AMAZING! She SAVED our vacation and we are so grateful to the staff of the Z Club. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, and the food was very good. Our only problem was with the music.

    What a find! A fantastic hotel run by an amazing team. The location is perfect - a stone throw away from the beach, plenty of restaurants, bars and shops. The facilities are super clean and modern. Unfortunately the gym & spa were closed due to covid but that was expected. Great music around the pool all day, very relaxed and not too heavy. The on-site restaurant was fantastic for me. I’ve an intolerance to Dairy, Gluten and Egg and the guys went above and beyond to make sure I could eat great all week - cooking things differently and mix and matching dishes. Eating out was a real concern for me before the holiday so I can’t thank the team enough for their efforts. As the restaurant staff, the rest across the hotel are super friendly and can never do too much for you. They make the place what it is. We enjoyed our stay that much we are already looking at dates to return next year. The only feedback I could give would be; - Entertainment could be better in the evenings but not sure if that was due to covid. - Hotel check in. Would be useful to have a welcome pack via email to explain how it works so it could run more efficiently. You need to download the hotels Zeus Hotels app and upload your information FYI.

    The vibe is very much younger crowd. Lots of locals/Greeks as well as Europeans. Good mix of younger people. Pros: 1. Pool area and sun-bed facilities are great. (Music terrible read below). They provide beach towels. 2. Location is perfect. Hidden away from the busy street. 3. Staff are super nice and really accommodating and fun. 4. The food is brilliant and reasonably priced. Open kitchen style. Buffet breakfast great too. Hot and cold items, even pancakes! Cons: 1. Very very basic rooms (but clean) with hardly any light and plug sockets. If you’re looking for a glamorous room don’t stay here. No room service or anyway of self catering (no kettle for making tea/coffee - I asked too and they said go buy one). 2. The music at the pool was so loud from maybe like 11am till late and just terrible. Ruined the vibe as you couldn’t hardly talk to anyone. There was just edits of every top 10 song in the last 20 years remixed into the same house beat. 3. The payment system at bar and restaurant. They almost make it difficult to pay on debit card. They really encourage the app but that means carrying your phone with you which I don’t do on holiday. 4. Mobile check in, takes ages. I’d rather reception do it for me. Including those cons I would still 100% recommend for 18-35 ages. And I would come back.

    We had a suprisingly great stay at the Z Club in Hersonnisos! Staff was very friendly and laid back. The hotel works with an good working app which you can use to contact the staff if you need anything. Theres also a DJ at the pool who plays every kind of good music. If you ever come to Chersonnisos, whether you wanna party or just relax, this is your place to be! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    When you want to stay close to heraklion but away from the busy street, this hotel is the one. Amazing ambiance, but never heard any noises from the street. Music is playing from 11 here but not annoyingly. Then the food is something else, the choices are endlessly and if you are doubting to book half board, do it. You don’t have a buffet but a very nice a la carte app, where you can make your own choices in what to eat, drink or snack. And every other night they have a special activity, like movie night, jukebox party or a football match. Would definitely stay here again.
