Writing this review is painful, because the MGM Grand has held a special place in my heart since I was a child, when it was literally the Emerald City from The Wizard of Oz with the awesome theme park out back

Recently renovated room. Very comfortable bed. The hotel is very large. Takes awhile to get where you need to be. Variety of choices for dining....

Great staff, great room with wonderful view. Action Poker table especially over the weekend. The higher floor the room is in, the better, the view of the Sphere is Fantastic...

Had room issues and they had no better rooms to upgrade my stay

Had some issues with the room and then tried to transfer us to another room with ceiling issues and was a lower quality room. They could have done more than waived some fees and gave a a small food credit, or at least upgraded my stay to a better room. When I said security called my room 2x and woke up my wife, the front desk originally told me thats impossible and was probably a prank phone call. I then called secu...

+ve - rooms renovated.
-ve - Staff not friendly. Room downgraded, as assigned room not ready even at 5pm check in. Elevator from parking garage to reception is in open. Huge problem for families with babies in cold weather....
