Great place for stay

I stayed only one night but the stay was pleasant and room were clean. I wish they had some tea in the room.
Regardless I enjoyed the stay and Jhoan was very helpful and attentive to my requests. Will consider coming back for my next stay in San Francisco....

Great hotel close to Union Square

Well located for Union Square & only a 35 minute walk to the pier areas (walk down Stockton it's relatively flat). Free coffee/tea in reception each morning. Rooms clean, well equipped with good sized bathrooms. Nothing was too much trouble for the hotel staff. We had an issue with our toilet plumbing which they couldn't fix. No problem for Rex who kindly moved us to a city view room at 3:30 in the morning, what a st...

As soon as we arrived, Jhoan at the front desk, greeted us with a big smile and a warm welcome. He answered our questions about things to do in the area and made some good recommendations. The room was clean and comfortable. All the staff was friendly and helpful....

We had never been to San Francisco before and Hotel Spero was a really welcoming introduction at an affordable price!
The location is just around the corner from union square and other tram stops so the location was ideal. We visited hotel spero part way through our Californian road trip and the parking lot around the block was extremely convenient as well. I think hotel spero actually recommended it on their websi...

A good hotel, rooms spacious, comfortable bed, well appointed bathroom. Staff not rude but not far off it. One receptionist was lovely but the others it was all to much effort!.
Free tea and coffee facilities are available in the foyer every morning as no kettle in rooms.
Toilet blocked a couple of times which was sorted quickly, apparently its an old building so plumbing isnt great!.
