    Could not fault this place. The quality of service, drinks and food was second to none. The entertainment team go above and beyond for the kids. They made my daughter feel so special! Will be going back. Location is perfect, quick taxi drive to either nerja or frigliana. Family of 9 with 2 children
    Summer holidays at Iberostar Malaga playa

    We stayed at Iberostar Malaga playa for 10 nights. Wonderful 10 nights. The hotel is very clean. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor. It were double rooms with wonderful view of the pool and the sea. There is a safe in the room (extra charge). If you want a towel for beach or pool you need to leave a deposit. You can change the towel whenever you want during the day. There is only one pool, but it's big enough with lifeguards working during the day. It looks very professional 👍. If you want an iron - no problem, but you also need to leave a deposit. Meals during the day are good with high quality. The variety of drinks was also good enough. We booked through the website so we had some pleasant bonuses, like a massage for example, which was very professional and relaxing. The staff were very nice and friendly, all of them. The beach is sandy. But the sea was a little cold and stormy during our vacation, despite it was the beginning of July. Animation team helped us to make our stay more fun. Many thanks to all the staff who were doing their best to make our stay comfortable!
    great Halloween week experience

    I've just spent an enjoyable week in that hotel right during the All Saints / Halloween week. We benefited from an excellent weather which made our stay even nicer. I can sign up to all good reviews posted here already, the hotel is maybe not the newest one but it's a good value for money and it does respond to the key needs of families with children. Reflect before you choose the room that is suitable for you needs! Points in favour that I would like to stress in particular: 1) our room (bright and spacious suite on 6th floor with lovely seaview), 2) passionate and enthusiastic animation team who prepared spectacular Halloween-themed shows and activities for kids and adults 3) access to a pleasant seafront promenade with bars and restaurants and the beach. 4) Friendly staff and good quality food (we stayed on a half-board option which was a good choice). On the minus, there is no baby club for children under 4 yo and no dedicated space for babies/ toddlers to play in. Overall, we would be happy to return one day.

    An stunning hotel inside and out. The rooms are modern and in very good condition. The staff have all been amazing, polite and friendly. Everywhere is so clean and tidy, the food in the restaurant superb. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

    Hi can I start by saying the rooms are lovely. The staff are very friendly all through the hotel. The rooms are spotless. The restaurant has got a good array of food and you would have to be picky not to find anything to your liking. The out side bar has got nothing as for food it is small and the food does not look appealing. The other pool bar is closed I presume due to bad winds. They advertise daytime entertainment! If you consider stretching in the morning and bingo in the afternoon as entertainment so be it. I don't as the weather is bad some inside activities maybe should be considered. There should be a couple of more activities such as French bowls maybe twice a day. The outside area is well maintained but VERY cramped it is not big enough for the amount of people that come to the hotel. Would I come back to this hotel. No.
