Managing your airline booking

As part of the TUI Group family, you can check in for all TUI Airways flights on the First Choice website or app and add your extras with us through Manage My Booking. For any other airline, this will be done directly with them. You’ll be able to submit your passport information, check-in options, boarding pass requests and select your seat* and luggage requirements through their own booking management system on their website.

To log into the airline’s website, you’ll be asked for your flight reference number. Just so you know, this isn’t the same as your First Choice booking reference. Your flight reference number will be a six-digit code (seven-digits for EasyJet flights) and can be found on your booking confirmation, e-ticket or in ‘View/Edit a Booking’ on the First Choice website. For Turkish Airlines, you’ll need your ticket number to access Manage Your Booking on their website.

*Please note, some airlines only let you choose your seat once you’ve paid in full, or when your flights have been ticketed and you’ve checked in. If you want to upgrade your seat before this, please give us a call so we can take a final payment and ticket your booking.

You can contact us on 0203 451 2690 and select the ‘Flights’ option if you want to cancel or amend your airline booking. If you want to add any extras to your booking, you can do so through the partner’s website. For bigger changes, like dates and flight amendments, please give us a call as soon as possible.

Assisted travel

If you or anyone you’re travelling with requires assistance when flying, please contact our Assisted Travel team on 0203 451 2690.

They’re on hand to help make the necessary arrangements to ensure you and your travelling party have a smooth flight. Different airlines might have different policies regarding seating, what medical or mobility equipment you can bring on their aircrafts and allowing assistance dogs on board. Please check the airline’s website before booking for full details.

For more information on specific airlines, see the relevant airline information above or check our FAQs. If your airline is not included, please check the carrier website directly for more information.

Please be aware, airlines may change their products and policies from time to time, so it’s important to check any information provided on their website before you travel.

Disruption

If for any reason your flight is changed significantly by the airline before the day of travel, we’ll notify you and work with them to find a suitable alternative. If no alternatives are available, you’ll be entitled to a refund.

If your flight’s cancelled within 24 hours of travel, the airline will look for an alternative flight for you. If you’re happy with the alternative, you can usually accept it through Manage Bookings on the airline’s website. If not, we’ll look for other options on TUI Airways. If no alternatives are available, you’ll be entitled to a refund.

If your flight’s delayed, depending on the length of the delay, the airline will provide refreshment vouchers for you to use at the airport. If the delay is to your outbound flight, we’ll automatically rearrange any transfers that are included in your package holiday and notify your hotel of your new expected arrival time.
