Beach hop along the coast

Twenty minutes’ drive takes you to some great secluded cloves. For a start, there’s Playa Zamora, a quiet bay set against rolling cliffs and banana plantations. And you’ve also got Playa de Cabras, though it’s a bumpy ride to this peaceful spot. Alternatively, half an hour gets to you to Puerto Naos, which has the longest beach on the island – and one of the best sunsets.
