As my family arrived at the hotel on the first evening we were told mine and my sisters room was full and we had to wait for the next day. The reception pressed to downgrade our room for the night to a bedroom with a double bed and a single rather than 3 individual singles until we mentioned speaking to Jet2 which resulted in us getting a room suitable for the 3 of us. On the other hand the bar staff and waiters are all very friendly and helpful especially the excellent animation team who went above and beyond. Extra thanks to Merve, Toga and Faith. Whilst the food was enjoyable for the first 5 days it became very repetitive and boring with little options different each day.

Me and my girlfriend stayed at St Nicholas Park at the end of July/ beginning of August, for 2 weeks. To start with the hotel is in a perfect location for couples and families. Hisaronu is a 10 minute walk away from the hotel, so meals out and shopping is easily accessible (cab back to hotel costs us 17 Lira. During the night time the walk can be dark, so a cab might be a good idea if you have young kids). The food at the hotel was superb it was never a problem to find a good meal as catered for everyone. The staff and chefs in the restaurant were very polite and friendly. They were always willing to help you and go the extra mile to make sure our meal was enjoyable as can be. The rooms were very modern but didn’t have a kettle, this was not a problem as you can rent one of reception or pick up a cheap one from the supermarket in Hisaronu. Although they were small you was never short for space or storage. The balcony were small but big enough for a washing line. The bathroom was fully equipped and included a hair dryer. We stayed in room 421 and the cleaner we had (we didn’t get her name) was good and friendly, she always said good morning or hello. My girlfriend accidentally let out jewellery and nothing was touched or moved ever. The entertainment team were good. A special shout out to Fatih who made our holiday fun and got us up joining in with the daily activities (even got my girlfriend to join in with the rifle shooting). He was also very kind and helpful and would say hello to us all the time. We arrived late at 4.15am and our room wasn’t ready as the couple before us had a late checkout. We was given a decent family room, but wouldn’t be nice for a room to stay in for the duration of your holiday. Minor negatives: To start off it was never a problem at the start of the holiday to get a sun bed, but on our second week we had to wake up at 5am to get 2 sun beds. Even at this time 95% of the beds were already gone expect for a few in the shade. They need to get more suns beds or follow the rule displayed in the bar stating that your sun bed is left more than an hour, then your towel will be removed. Someone started to leave their towels out at 10.30pm, a lady took them to reception and told them that she saw someone putting out their towels for the morning and they shrugged their shoulders. However, the pool side was always really clean and spotless. Even when the floor got really wet slippery they got one of the cleaners to mop it up. The bar stuff were always friendly apart from one female who was exceptionally rude. When you asked her for a drink she reacted as if you’re asking her for world. She would always tut and huff and puff, when asking for a large drink (even at the start of the day, she would do this). She would just throw you your cup and give you a dirty look. Spa man was pushy and after you had your massage or Turkish Bath he would try and sell you more, by telling you had all sorts of problems. However, he was not a pest after you said no. Although the Turkish Bath was really good and should definitely experience it, if you have not had it done before. We got it as a good price £35 each.

Visited this hotel in August and it would be our second visit. On arrival we were quickly checked in and taken to our rooms 104 and105 both were ok but needs refurb as a bit dated and showing signs of wear and tear. Food was ok throughout the holiday but was never hot which was a shame as it tasty. Pools were clean but had to get up at 5-30 in morning to get sun beds as most had towels on them by then. Drinks were ok and as you would expect in turkey. Snack bar was horrible even the chips were cold or over done. Rooms were only cleaned twice to very poor standard . I was even asked for tip by cleaner on last day . Also very odd we had someone viewing our room at 10am 2 hours before we had to leave which was annoying. We couldn’t get a late checkout room either which was very poor customer service. High light of the week for me was the spa where I had 2 massages due to back problems thanks to cemel and his team for there integrity and great service highly recommended. Meet some great people here including Russians . Would I come back well we will see.
