    The Abora Buenaventura by Lopesan Hotels is undergoing a refurbishment in 2019, and will reopen in the winter.

    You can look forward to a trio of pools, one of which is just for adults. There'll be stacks of activities to get involved in, too, including table tennis and shuffleboard.

    If you want the sand between your toes, the hotel’s shuttle bus will whizz you to the beach in five minutes, or it’s just a 10-minute walk. Or, explore Playa Del Ingles town, a 20-minute stroll away.

    • Island pool

      The main pool is a lively area with regular music, games and activities. It's surrounded by a terrace with sunbeds and parasols, plus there's a pool bar within arm's reach, too. And it's normally heated November to April – depending on the weather.

    • Saborea- buffet restaurant

      Saborea is the main buffet restaurant – and there are 2 of them. It is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet spread presents both local and international foods as well as themed nights. And there are vegetarian options, plus a kids' menu too.

      This is an adults only pool.

    Reception staff were quite rude and unhelpful when checking in. Pools were freezing could do with heated pools, also needing a bit of work on floor tiles inside the pool as my son cut his foot on one. Pool area is fine but could do with someone stopping people from reserving loungers if they aren’t sitting at the pool at all that day! Food is the usual for all inclusive, we always found something to eat anyway. Snack bar etc was the best with chips, burgers, toasties etc. The rooms really need updating and at least need air conditioning and a fridge!! ENTERTAINMENT was amazing, sometimes we felt we should be paying for it it was that good! This definitely made our holiday we really enjoyed each night.

    It's very nice place for the familys. Good organized and friendly staff. We happy to spend our holiday time Buenaventura Hotel. Mini clubs. Mini disco it's was best time for our kids 🥰 5 stars form us
    Fantastic Easter Family Holiday

    Just returned from a 7 night stay at Easter with the family and it was excellent. Massive complex which is about to be shut while they refurb it. I had read this before going and was wondering what it would be like. I didn't have to worry it was excellent. Service was superb - had a issue on first night and it was sorted within 1 hour. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We stayed half board so had breakfast and lunch in the restaurant and they are excellent as well - lots of options and food was good too. Rooms were clean and tidy. Plenty of room in them and also everything was good in them. We had a room on the 7th floor (out of 8) and overlooked one of the 3 pool areas. It was quite noisy at night because we were put in a room over where the evening entertainment was and it was loud until late but that did not bother us too much. Entertainment team on site were brilliant - plenty of kids activities and adult ones as well. loads of space on site and amenities - hair salon, kids club and shop. Very good stay and very interested to see what it is like and it is renovated.

    great all inclusive, many swimming pools,bars at pools, jacuzzi next to pools, shows every en=vning, games for small and big next to pools or in water, the only bad about hotel is that is a big hotel with many rooms, so to have sunbed you have to grab one before breakfast Visited October 2014

    On arrival we where very happy with the hotel. The only issue we had is the walk to room was a distance, although we did have cases it was not an issue. The room was very clean but dark unless the curtains was open. The bed could of done with thicker pillows or more than one each. Breakfast was good with lots of options for everyone, dinner had less options but still good. There was something always gone on around the pool that was for both the adults and children. We read that the was a gym on site but unfortunately it was closed down when we got there which was a shame as it was one of the reasons I did choose this hotel, they did have tennis courts which where well kept although could of done with better rackets has the grips had been removed. Both pool areas where lovely and very well kept, the pool was chilly but refreshing as it was very warm.
