we arrived on Friday afternoon very easy checking in paid money man stopped us gave change back honest room is nice cosy good value for money locality to things weather was Ari shower went cold to quickly but I suppose if you came in hot weather it would be grand the man was really nice and changed our room for us very good cheap and cheerful would definitely come back

We came to this aparthotel in July, we didn't have the best time of our lives but according to the price, it's not that expensive. If your plans are made to spend most of the day out and only sleeping there, it's ok. I didn't want to post anything harmful but we were there for december, after a long trip from France, and ONE HOUR THE FIRE ALARM WOULDNT STOP RINGING. Called the emergency phone and no answer. I said nothing tk the reception staff because when we were in July they didnt even paid attention to what we were saying. Dirty rooms and broken floor, harmfull for our children! Worst experience ever. Wont ever come.

Our stay in Inter2 was the first overseas holiday my wife and I had taken for 20 years and the first ever for both of our kids. As our oldest daughter was approaching 18 years of age and (hopefully) won’t want to go on holiday with mum and dad in the future we figured we should make this a “special one” (most of our previous holidays have been in North Wales which isn’t all that adventurous when you live in North Wales). However our budget was tight so I set the search option on the booking website to “Low to high” and started browsing. Inter2 wasn’t the cheapest option but it was just about the cheapest option that didn’t have entirely negative reviews. So off we set from Liverpool airport one wet and windy Sunday morning in August en route to Reus, and I would recommend if you’re going to Salou to try to fly to Reus as it’s far more convenient that Barcelona. First impressions of Inter2 weren’t great as it’s an a fairly busy street in a built up area but I guess if you’re paying budget prices you aren’t going to get a seafront hotel. Stepping inside impressions improved immediately as we entered the bright, air conditioned and well manned reception area. We were checked in and heading for our room very promptly. Obviously not having been abroad for twenty years we don’t have much to compare the room to but we found it to be clean and well maintained. Also the air conditioning had been switched on in advance which was a big plus given that we’d left behind rain and misery and arrived to find blazing sunshine and the temperature at 30C. We had a bathroom complete with bath, balcony, working TV and a kitchenette area which didn’t get much use as we were All Inclusive but the kettle and fridge both worked fine. The room was cleaned several times during the week we were there, if anything more often than we would have expected. As we’d arrived late in the afternoon before the restaurant was open for dinner our first dining experience was from the snack bar. If you’re on All Inclusive you can claim a free burger or hotdog with fries between 2-5pm. Most of our meals were however taken in the restaurant. We had no complaints at all about the food on offer. It’s all help yourself buffet and there was always plenty of choice so if there was something you didn’t fancy there were always plenty of alternative choices. My only quibble would be a lack of variety in the desserts but the mains were fine. Special credit must go to the amazing Salva (who my wife wanted to bring home with us to run our kitchen at home) but all the restaurant staff were hard working and polite. The pool was a good size and activities such as aqua-zumba and water polo took place every day for anyone looking to burn off their breakfasts. Entertainment was fine and geared primarily towards British and Irish guests. There was maybe a bit too much bingo, especially when the tickets were four Euros a time, and I’m not sure quizzes quite work in an age when people can Google the answers on their phones. The highlight was on night one when were entertained by Jose and his performing parrots which was one the funniest things I’ve ever seen (if maybe not entirely intentionally). The bar was also fine if predictably a bit busy at times but we were fully able to take advantage of being All Inclusive and the drinks flowed freely enough! This is not a five star hotel, and doesn’t pretend to be, but having paid such a cheap price for our holiday it exceeded our expectations in just about every way and we were sad to leave once our week was up.
