Eat spetsofai at a taverna in Alykes
There isn’t much to spoil the tranquillity in Agios Dimitrios itself, so for eating places you’ll need to head to Alykes. Along the seafront are authentic tavernas serving up views across to Kefalonia, as well as delicious Greek food. The moussaka’s a must, but you can also try Zante’s local specialities, like spetsofai, or stuffed rabbit.
