Try watersports on Galé Beach
The best place for watersports is Galé Beach, just a kilometre or so away. This wide stretch of sands offers jet-skis, pedalos and banana boats. There are three restaurants for drinks and snacks, while a short stroll to Armacao de Pera gives you chance to see flamingos in the wild. Sesmerias is also near the beaches of Evaristo, Castelo and Sao Rafael – all three are quiet sandy coves scalloped from the rocky shoreline, and they're within five minutes’ drive.
